Daily Inspiration: Meet Midhvan Gulati

Today we’d like to introduce you to Midhvan Gulati. 

Hi Midhvan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started when I was in college back in India. I used to upload pictures in my outfit. I did not even know what a collaboration meant at that time. As the time passed by, I connected to many people. I also got hatred midway. Got comments like, “If this is what blogging is, we all should unfollow this guy,” but I made it my strength and put it for good use. I analyzed everything while going for a shoot, the purpose, the location, the colors, everything, and the end result came out splendid, always. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was a bumpy road; there were times when I had to do the collaborations, which were neither barter nor paid, had to shoot for products and return them while I got nothing. But my family always praised whatever I posted; I always took that as a stepping stone. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
While back in India, I was known for fashion blogging. Whereas, since I moved to Canada. I am into more or freelance stuff. Posting travel, cooking, fashion, fitness, a little bit of everything. I am proud of my followers. Some of them have been following me from back in India, and even though my content has not been specific since I moved, they have not given up on me. 

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My twin sister. No matter what, she was always there to shoot for me. The sunlight, the rain, autumn, every season, she has been my supporter. She pumped me up every time with the poses, the expressions, and the ideas.
