Daily Inspiration: Meet Krista Bryant and Patricia Rogers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista Bryant and Patricia Rogers

Hi Krista and Patricia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Those Wrestling Girls began unexpectedly. Queen P.R. And I (Krista B.) were in a meeting for another publication brainstorming on our roles and one of us said, ‘Man, I’m missing wrestling tonight,’ and the other person’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

From there, we began talking about wrestling and the women’s division. This is when the women were beginning to get more TV time and really showcase their talents and we wanted a place to talk about it. However, before creating our platform, we tested it out on Instagram, around the time IGTV came out and people began to gravitate toward us and what we were saying.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Anything that you do in life will never have a smooth road. We have faced some issues along the way and sometimes we still do. Sometimes we experience burnout, lack of creativity, we have a differences of opinions, we have that thought that if we don’t produce content the we will be forgotten about.

There have even been times where out audio has messed up from interviews so we panic then improvise to put out good content.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Queen P.R. And I are both in the media world and work for well-known publications. We are both journalists, content creators, producers, etc.

The thing that sets us apart from others, is our drive and the fact that we are resilient. Now we are human and have human reactions, however, we don’t let things that are meant to keep us down, keep us down. We just push and move harder to get to where we want to be.

What does success mean to you?
We would define success as something that is not linear. Success is hitting your goals, big or small and have that satisfaction knowing that they are accomplished so that you can achieve more of your goals. Success comes with happiness, but it also comes with other emotions that people don’t speak about, but once you’ve hit that mark, it’s off to accomplish more.
