Daily Inspiration: Meet Denyse Lipka

Today we’d like to introduce you to Denyse Lipka.

Hi Denyse, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I consider myself an accidental entrepreneur. Cleveland born and raised; I am a certified Ohio art educator with 20 years of teaching in the classroom. I started my own local traveling art business in 2015, going to local businesses, wineries, and homes for fun and creative painting parties. When Covid hit, social media was extremely beneficial, and I offered free online art classes to my 2,000 followers who shared the post and following grew to 30,000 in two days. I went live for the very first time on March 16, 2020, and had 20,000 viewers from around the world. People requested supply lists for the projects, and connecting with Amazon was a natural fit for me. I was accepted into the Amazon Influencer Program, where I go live on Amazon and Draw and Paint, tagging the products I am using and recommending my favorite supplies. Currently, I offer an educational online subscription group for students, teachers, and families. I am also doing in-person painting parties in Northeast Ohio, and Virtual Live Paint Parties across the United States, and an Amazon Creator. Please Check out my full website:

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The largest struggle I have faced is dealing with technology. Going live on social media was completely new to me, and I had a lot of friends and family help me. Even strangers offered assistance to help me online. Marketing my new program is my next step. Currently, I am growing my virtual art subscription group as well as booking more in-person parties for team-building, social events, and creative fun parties for everyone. Anyone. Any Where. Any Time. Any Reason. Be Happy. Make Art.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
