Daily Inspiration: Meet Chyanne Perry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chyanne Perry.

Chyanne, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin? 
I have been in the industry for 15 years working for doctors and franchises the first 5 years, and decided the industry was missing something. I went out on my own in 2013 ready to share my gifted hands with the world. In 2016, I decided to expand my business and offer the finest grades of Lavender to enhance the customer’s overall experience. I believe in a natural approach to healing and have been working to spread awareness ever since. This year in 2023 I opened a brand-new location at which I designed myself and cultivates lavender, and a salt room to also enhance our customers’ experiences. 

I was able to grow my business through hard work, dedication, and sacrificing. I worked 7 days a week for almost 4 years to grow my clientele base. My family suffered with my absence, but I was determined to build a legacy. With my hard work, I have been futured in 7 different articles, member of the United States Lavender association, and the first black-owned Day Spa recognized with the State of Ohio. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, for sure. I have dealt with ambiguity from my own counterparts-expecting for me to just hand over what I have worked so hard for. I have missed family events and being there as my children grew. I have no background in business or finance at all and as a result, had to learn the finance challenges the hard way. I am currently dealing with a major Spa franchise moving across the street from me. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician. I specialize in upper body disorders and anti-aging facials. I am most proud of developing a team to help me with the company vision and mission. What sets me apart from others is that I am very highly seasoned in my profession, I have a sincere approach to sales that is unlike most franchises, I am very personable, hardworking, consistent, and utilize the finest grades of Lavender to help improve the overall customer’s experience. 

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is making sure our customers have the most amazing experience possible. This is important to me because I have always been serving my clients and it is more than awarding when you can give an ultimate amazing experience. I’ve learned that you don’t have to go to huge franchises to get this experience.
