Daily Inspiration: Meet Brady and Caitlin Wertz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brady and Caitlin Wertz.

Hi Brady and Caitlin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Just about 2 years ago, Caitlin and I found our love for all things Cedar Point and amusement parks. After 50 visits to “Americas Roller Coaster”, Cedar Point we had hours and hours of video of our adventures. Caitlin decided at the end of Oct 2021 to start our Tiktok page. I can still remember saying “Who is going to watch us?”

Flash forward 1 year, and 3 weeks and we are approaching 1.5 million followers. We have the most subscribers of any channel on Tiktok, we have finished in the top 10 ranking within the USA, 15 times, and have created a safe and welcoming community for all. It has been a year of working dual jobs for Brady. He was working a full-time engineering job, then coming home and streaming 3-5 hours each night.

Weekends were then dedicated to travel, content, and live streams. 80-100 hours every week for a year. Caitlin left her full-time job to be a creator/influencer in May of 2021, coordinating the shipment of merch, plush, content creation, video editing for Youtube, and afternoon live streams. We are so excited to see what 2023 will bring- as we start the new year off with a trip to Tiktok Headquarters in LA to meet the team!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A smooth road…. lol “looks at Caitlin and smiles”. We are all about being open and honest, and have said many times the last year, especially being newlyweds, has been stressful and difficult. With Brady working full time, then coming home and streaming, it left nothing in the emotional tank for us.

Vacation time from Brady’s work was used to create content and stream and never for us to connect. It has been a big sacrifice, but it has been worth it to see our community grow. We have big changes coming this next year to help reduce the stress and bring us closer as a couple.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Our content has grown so much over the past year. We started as a channel dedicated to the love of Cedar Fair parks and has grown to include Dave and Buster’s Wednesdays. Mini Brand Mondays. We teach how to win those pesky carnival games, and bring home BIG WINs wherever we go! Our channel then started to live scratch lottery tickets here in Ohio and from other states as well.

Being a variety channel, allows us to mold the content to keep it fresh and ever-changing with the trends of social media. We are known for being “the sweet Couple” on Tiktok, The scratchers, The plush collectors! We also just hit 6300 subscribers on Tiktok, which is the most of any channel in the World. (2nd is at 1600 Subs) We are very proud and humbled by that, and love that our community supports our content and what we are trying to create!

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
For me… ITS CORN! (a Tiktok trend) If you know, you know lol. What matters most to us is creating a safe space that is welcoming to all, while showing how fun life can be!! Our discord chat channel is close to 10,000 members. These range from High School students, college students, single moms, 30-somethings, gay, straight, trans, nonbinary, etc.

We welcome everyone, there are places to vent, talk about your kiddos, your small business, mental health, post artwork, or just chat with friends. We love seeing our community grow and bring people together. The internet and social media can be a harsh, and nasty place, but we strive to keep ours family-friendly and safe for everyone.
