Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like any journey, building Benevolyn Kai Esthetics came with its own set of challenges. Some of the struggles I faced included:
- Building a Clientele: At the outset, establishing a loyal clientele base was a significant challenge. Consistent marketing efforts, networking, and exceptional service are required to attract and retain clients.
- Business Management: Managing a business’s administrative and financial aspects, such as bookkeeping, scheduling, and inventory management, demands time and expertise beyond esthetic skills.
- Staying Current: The skincare industry constantly evolves with new technologies, products, and techniques. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements requires continuous education and investment in training.
- Competition: Standing out in a crowded market amidst competition from other estheticians and skincare brands required differentiation through unique offerings, exceptional service, and a strong brand identity

I am known for my expertise in analyzing skin conditions and developing customized treatment plans to address acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, and sensitivity. I am also passionate about educating clients about proper skincare routines and techniques to maintain healthy, glowing skin between appointments. Additionally, I stay abreast of the latest advancements in skincare technology and products, continually expanding my knowledge to offer my clients the most effective and innovative treatments.
How do you define success?
I define success as the ability to positively impact my client’s lives by helping them achieve their skincare goals and uncovering their natural beauty. Success is measured by external accomplishments and the satisfaction and confidence my clients feel in their skin.
