Conversations with Rachel Terzak

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Terzak.

Hi Rachel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Mother of twin boys, with 15 years of healthcare experience working with the top leading hospital systems in the world. I have led hospital departments to increase census and branding awareness while nurturing countless teams of individuals to reach their full potential.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio into a chaotic environment I experienced early childhood trauma in all forms. Unfortunately, the help that I needed was not available at that time. I was taught to power through this discomfort which led to massive early career success. I was a successful college athlete with later induction into the Hall of Fame. I had learned through my own personal reward system that to be seen and valued meant I needed to build a career and financial stability. However, these untreated traumas led to unhealthy choices in all forms throughout early adult life and into my 30’s.

In 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer when my twin sons were 2 1/2 years old. This led to several surgeries and chemotherapy. While this was a very challenging journey it created my first awakening that helped set the stage for further growth and reliance on Spirit.

After rising from further adult trauma, I was able to leave an unhealthy life behind to rebuild it and that is how Access to Transformation was born. I also work for a Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment hospital where I believe I have been divinely placed to help individuals like myself move forward through the grace of a higher power.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In the previous answer I discussed addiction, cancer, and health issues, single parenting, and undergoing all forms of abuse.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I contribute to addressing mental health and substance use disorder challenges as a Business Development Specialist. My work is driven by a passion for helping patients access critical resources, ensuring smooth transitions to care while prioritizing authenticity and work-life balance.

As an LNHA-certified professional, I bring expertise in patient advocacy, healthcare management, and addiction treatment to the recovery space. By leveraging skills such as breathwork and Reiki, I aim to support patients with compassion and care, fostering a positive impact in their journey toward wellness.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
The power to heal is within each of us, if we can turn inward and pray to a power larger than ourselves, we can heal.
