Hi Makaila, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I chose to stay home and be the best mom I could be, I knew I still wanted something that was just for me — something that kept my creativity alive. That’s how Stick it Babe was born — a way to bring the magic of creativity right to your doorstep, without the need for a brick-and-mortar studio.

It’s the perfect balance — allowing me to live my purpose as a mom while using my love for art and crafting to build something beautiful, meaningful, and my own.

It started with one simple round door hanger & quickly grew to 40+ options for all different ages. With every request, created a new challenge to bring that to their doorstep. I bring everything.

The journey is an easy simple process: pick a date/time, pick the craft& I show up with all the magic. I bring everything to create loads of things including; door hangers, door mats, signs, canvases, candle pouring, bracelets, bath bombs, hat burning (crowd favorite), permanent jewelry, succulents, fairy gardens, bloom bar, & more. Most of the time, people send me a screenshot from Pinterest/internet and I create a custom party for them and their friends to enjoy. It’s so unique and everyone loves it!

Besides the parties, I also make several kinds of jewelry! Permanent jewelry is a crowd favorite and definitely mine. I also create custom keepsake jewelry which is jewelry to preserve a life, experience, hardship, etc. such as jewelry made from preserved flowers, breast milk, ashes, clothing, hair etc. I have created thousands of pieces and have shipped them all over the USA. I definitely love creating uniques, one of a kind pieces that preserve a story forever!!

My events planning side is growing rapidly as now we officially have party with a princess! Where birthday parties and other childhood parties get to involve their favorite princesses and other characters! We can’t wait for the years ahead! From hand painted banners for all different events, custom gifts, personalized items, rentals, charcuterie tables & creative workshops to your doorstop, look no further!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall it was very smooth! I’ve had so much support! People have loved helping me grow and learn along the way! I’ve learned a ton, but overall I try to learn something new everyday! Work smarter not harder is normally the way to go for me

Time management is key. As well as staying transparent with my clients to ensure the best experience possible!

I’m a one man band with hopes to expanding with a full time team soon!

I think what sets me apart is my ability to come to you! To your home, camper, favorite pub, boat etc. I bring the fun to your doorstep!

No need to find a sitter, no need to go crossed town, just invite your friends to enjoy a craft on the couch or in the comfort of your home

I do it all and am eager to create something one of a kind for everyone

I’m easily able to learn new things and have yet to find something I don’t enjoy doing arts/craft wise!

Surprisingly, my career didn’t start in art or business — it started with motherhood and a hot glue gun

I never found my purpose at a desk or on the floor of a hospital! I’ve tried tons of things but I just knew I needed to be at home with my kids! So I sat down and launched my entire business without telling a single person. I came up with a plan and the entire thing was just built in minutes! Grew and succeeded so quickly
