Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Niyomwungere.

Hi Eric, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Young Spit is originally from Burundi a landlocked country in east-central Africa, bordering Rwanda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The main languages spoken in the Burundian Republic are Kirundi, French (both official), and Swahili.

Niyomwungere Eric (born 13 February 1997), popularly known by his stage name Young Spit, is a Burundian singer and songwriter. In 2016. He rose to prominence after releasing “Shanna”, Following up with, “Cinderella”, “Uwanje”, “Wine”, Yemuko”, “Tonight” and “Iwacu”, “Ready Set Go” and “Let me know”

Young Spit was born in East Africa (Tanzania) and raised in America, He came to this country as a child, and his life experiences played a major role in his overall creativity. Young Spit’s Sound is a mixture of Afro-fusion, World Music, and Hip Hop.

It seems like Young Spit assimilated into the American culture and is simply expressing the experiences that contributed to his growth. We are a product of our environment. Our intelligence gives us the ability to adapt to whatever we are exposed to.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the struggles include not finding or having the right connections to get my music to the right media out let’s reach different audiences.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I consider myself a versatile artist, I have collaborated with France producer mike moon night with over 124k Spotify monthly listers, we’d collaborate on a Christmas song, a Halloween song, a pop song, and a world song with over 300k streams on Spotify, I recently released a trap Ep. And what sets me apart from everyone is that I like to create music that people can relate to and have a unique sound.
