Today we’d like to introduce you to Cyron Clemons.
Hi Cyron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Back in 2015, I began a small business with graphic design for local businesses and upcoming brands, by 2017-2018 I added photography and videography to go along with it. Mainly getting customers to use all aspects of branding with logos, business cards, digital advertising, and more. With all that being from Akron Ohio I wanted more I wanted to do more so I made the leap to Los Angeles where I began film school in 2019 and finished up in 2021 learning a lot about the film industry as I began to better my skills but also become a director and editor.
So now my brand is based on business development and I cover all film production including short films, music videos, series, and advertising. I’m just this short time I’ve managed to put out 9 short films, and background works as an actor, and have toned my skills as an editor and director covering all projects. Now I’m a Senior Network Producer and Creative Services Director with the RYM NETWORK on ROKU. So I proudly like to say I’ve come a long way.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth ride I would say covid was a huge struggle and obstacle I had to face. Not being blue to work in my field and having to finish school online became a huge problem for a while, but I got through it and used that time to better my skills. Also just building your brand in a new city is also a battle but now working for network I’m learning a ton of new things and meeting some great people along the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Former Senior Producer/ Creative Director for the RYM NETWORK, I also run my brand providing Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, VFX/SFX Editing, and Film Directing. I specialize in building brands from scratch for those who are starting or looking to build a brand/business. I’m known for all the above and now mostly my film work as an actor, editor, director, and producer. Being a recent film school grad I’m still at the bottom patiently making my way to the top in the film and tv industry.
I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve graduated from college and in 3 years I’ve either been an actor-director, producer, and/or editor on 9 short films, commercials, branding content, sports highlights, and more. I’ve had the opportunity to work on many different as a background actor, PA, and producer. What sets me apart from others is that my creativity isn’t limited and I strive for perfection and excellence providing a one-stop shop for those who work with me.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
For me to work with or collaborate with others there needs to be creativity and vision involved with a plan and must be able to handle constructive criticism. Perfecting my craft is the main goal so that needs to be a goal for all parties involved when working with me. Support comes in many forms but liking, subscribing, or sharing content helps in the biggest way.
