Conversations with Brandon Bell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Bell.

Hi Brandon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story is a winding road. I got my start in music at 15. Me and two friends started a record label called Ground Zero Productions in high school. I got my start in acting at the Karamu Playhouse theater with the direction of Desmond Stormy Jones and Peter Lawson Jones. From there I worked at American Idol for two years as a production assistant. After that I participated in the first 48 hour film project festival. I was offered a movie role in Pittsburgh but I went to Alabama to help take care of my grandparents. While there i worked with several hip hop artist and producers and begin to produce music. I returned to Cleveland after my grandparents passed away with my first film script called THE CONNECTED WEB SERIES. In order to film I went and learned on several independent film sets to learn the craft. I stared ended up doing over 40 films and dropped 2 seasons of my Web series THE CONNECTED. During the time I fell in love with writing and was brought on to write for an upcoming COMIC BOOK company called 50fifty Comix. I created LYKOS THE METAL WOLF we have now to this date released 4 issues of that book that has sold thousands of copies. I also co own G1NBC a online streaming platform for independent content creators partnering with ROKU. I also rekindled my love for music forming OUTLAW JONEZ a hip hop and rnb group with my best friend Deleon 216. We now produce for independent music artists in the city as well. I have also had cameo appearances in MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN starting Jeremy Renner. I have won multiple best actor awards. I am featured in multiple films in multiple streaming platforms. With all this I’m still a father of two beautiful kids and I’m also a school teacher at EAST PREP ACADEMY where I teach 6th 7th and 8th grade science and social studies.
