Conversations with Bob Reynolds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bob Reynolds.

Hi Bob, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve served as the Mayor of Wooster since January of 2024. I am a lifelong resident of Wooster and have been a downtown business owner (attorney) for over 40 years.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The City administration sees a constantly changing set of challenges and opportunities. That is the nature of the job.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The City of Wooster has been very forward-thinking for decades, and the current residents enjoy the benefits that have resulted from that. The role of City government can’t be overstated, but it also reflects contributions from our economic development partners (Main Street Wooster, Wooster Chamber of Commerce, Wayne Economic Development Council) and many individuals who have stepped up over the years.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Wooster and Wayne County are not only great places to live and work, but also great places to visit. For anyone not familiar with our community, I would encourage you to come and enjoy our many recreational opportunities, our wide variety of dining choices, and our vibrant downtown.
