Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The fitness industry is notortious for misinformation to sell products, supplements, and services that are based on lies that never die. These include the myth of spot reduction, bulking up too much if you lift hevier weights etc. This makes it difficult for potential clients to understand the value and culture of our training system. Once we get a new person to do a trial they usually start to understand the difference between mainstream franchises and how we approach training.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I work with endurance athletes, runners, cyclists, multisport athletes (triathletes) to help them with strength and mobility. We have a small group training model where the clients often have their own programs that I oversee. I do take on referrals from clients that aren’t endurance athletes. We have a number of longevity clients well into their 70’s that are quite impressive with what they can do.

We’ve done many years of outdoor weekend workouts in local parks that our clients really enjoy. Recently we’ve added Ruck/Run/Walk events as fundraisers that we been successful with.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Being creative with the workout formats while still going deep on the fundamentals is always a focus, but the most important piece is keeping the community strong. Clients need to feel comfortable regardless who they’re in the gym with.
