Today we’d like to introduce you to Malikah Williams.
Hi Malikah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started A Queen’s Touch LLC with a simple but powerful intention—to create a space where people could truly feel cared for, not rushed through a service. As a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 11 years of experience, I quickly realized that many clients were not receiving the level of personalized, intentional care their bodies actually needed. That realization pushed me to build something different—something more structured, more impactful, and rooted in real results.
What began as a passion for helping others relieve stress and pain has grown into a premier wellness and recovery business serving Northeast Ohio. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise beyond traditional massage into post-operative care, lymphatic drainage, and therapeutic recovery services designed to improve clinical outcomes and support long-term healing. And have hired another licensed massage therapist that supports the vision to help our community.
Throughout my journey, I’ve been recognized for excellence through consistent 5-star client satisfaction, being highlighted by Google as a top-rated massage provider in Akron, and maintaining an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. But beyond accolades, what I’m most proud of is the impact I’ve had on my community—whether it’s helping clients recover from surgery, manage chronic pain, or simply feel like themselves again.
I’ve also made it a priority to give back by creating initiatives like the Becoming the Change Scholarship and hosting an annual back-to-school book bag giveaway, reinforcing my commitment to not just building a business, but making a meaningful difference.
Today, A Queen’s Touch LLC has evolved into more than a massage business—it’s a structured wellness brand that bridges the gap between clinical care and real-world recovery. I’ve positioned myself to work alongside healthcare providers, utilizing my NPI to support patients through proper aftercare, documentation, and consistent therapeutic support.
Where I am today is the result of staying committed to growth, mastering my craft, and truly listening to what people need—not just physically, but holistically. And I’m continuing to build with the vision of expanding, scaling, and becoming a recognized leader in wellness, recovery, and therapeutic care.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all—and I don’t think growth like this ever is.
There were moments where I was pouring everything into my business—my time, my energy, my heart—and not seeing the return I knew I was capable of. Times where I questioned if I was doing enough, or if I was on the right path. Building something from the ground up, especially as a woman balancing business, life, and responsibility, comes with a level of pressure that people don’t always see.
There were slow seasons that tested my faith, moments of burnout where I had to still show up and give my best to clients even when I was exhausted, and times where I felt like I had to figure everything out on my own. Learning the business side—pricing, structure, boundaries, scaling—was just as challenging as mastering my craft.
I’ve also had to grow emotionally—learning how to set boundaries, how to not overextend myself, and how to stand firm in the value of what I offer. Not everyone will understand your vision, and not every opportunity is aligned, and that’s something I had to learn through experience.
But through all of it, what kept me going was knowing the impact of what I do. “Touching” each client to build trust and allowing them to understand that it is “safe touch”. Every client who walked away feeling relief, every person who trusted me during their recovery, every life I’ve been able to touch—it reminded me why I started. Instead of clients, I call them Royals and they “leave feeling like royalty.”
Those struggles didn’t break me—they refined me. They made me more intentional, more disciplined, and more confident in the business and brand I’ve built. And now, I don’t just see the challenges as setbacks—I see them as the foundation that prepared me for the level I’m stepping into.
We’ve been impressed with A Queen’s Touch LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
A Queen’s Touch LLC is a wellness and recovery business built on intentional, personalized care. We specialize in therapeutic massage, post-operative care, lymphatic drainage, and body recovery services designed to not only help clients feel better, but to support real, measurable healing. Our focus is on pain management, stress reduction, mobility, and improving overall quality of life through consistent, structured care.
What sets us apart is that we don’t approach massage as a one-time luxury—we treat it as an essential part of a person’s wellness and recovery journey. Every session is tailored to the individual, whether they are dealing with chronic pain, recovering from surgery, or simply carrying the weight of everyday stress. We offer both in-office and mobile services, which removes barriers and makes high-quality care more accessible. We also work with healthcare providers, surgeons, physical therapy facilities, and pain management specialists. By recently obtaining my NPI (National Providers Identifier) number, we are able to extend your care outside of your doctor’s office.
We are especially known for our work in post-operative recovery. Through lymphatic drainage and therapeutic techniques, we help reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support proper healing outcomes. With my NPI, I’m also able to provide superbills and documentation, allowing clients to seek reimbursement and positioning our services within a more medically supportive space.
Beyond the services themselves, what truly defines A Queen’s Touch is the experience. Clients are not rushed, overlooked, or treated like a number—they are cared for with intention, consistency, and a level of attention that makes them feel seen, valued, and restored. That level of care is something many people don’t realize they’ve been missing until they experience it.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built. From consistent 5-star reviews to being recognized as a top-rated provider in Akron and maintaining an A+ BBB rating, the feedback I receive reflects not just satisfaction, but real impact. I’ve also been able to extend that impact into the community through initiatives like the Becoming the Change Scholarship and annual book bag giveaways, which reflect my commitment to giving back.
What I want people to understand about A Queen’s Touch LLC is that we are more than a massage business—we are a structured wellness brand focused on healing, recovery, and elevating the standard of care. Whether someone comes to us for stress relief or post-surgical recovery, our goal is always the same: to provide intentional, results-driven care that helps them feel better, move better, and truly experience what it means to be taken care of.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the massage and wellness industry shifting from being viewed as a luxury service to becoming a necessary part of healthcare, recovery, and everyday wellness.
More people are seeking non-invasive ways to manage stress, chronic pain, mobility issues, and burnout. Massage is becoming less about an occasional spa day and more about consistent preventative care. I believe we will see more collaboration between massage therapists, surgeons, chiropractors, physical therapists, and healthcare providers, especially for post-operative recovery, pain management, and nervous system support.
Clients are also becoming more educated. They want personalized care, structured treatment plans, and providers who understand both relaxation and results. Mobile services, memberships, documentation, and medically supportive care will continue to grow because people want convenience, consistency, and trust.
Technology may change booking, communication, and client education, but intentional human touch will always be irreplaceable. That is where A Queen’s Touch LLC is already positioned: bridging the gap between clinical treatment and real-world recovery while helping clients feel cared for, restored, and treated like royalty.
