Community Highlights: Meet Kyle Homan of 3CRE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Homan.

Kyle Homan

Hi Kyle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I wandered into real estate with no sales experience whatsoever.

After four years of studying graphic design in college, paired with the all-too-late realization that I didn’t want to pursue a career in that field, I was broke and eager to build something meaningful. I spent a significant amount of time researching various career paths that might interest me, and real estate ultimately caught my attention. What I didn’t anticipate was the daunting task of starting a business—a mountain I would soon fear, challenge, and eventually conquer.

The turning point in my journey came with a brokerage switch which, in turn, introduced me to the most influential mentor of my career. This mentorship taught me the power of consistency and discipline—values I had applied in other areas of my life but never fully embraced in jobs due to a lack of enjoyment or motivation. After enduring eight months without pay, my efforts finally began to flourish. It was a matter of persistence and mastering the mundane tasks that often go unnoticed. Today, I manage multiple deals each month. I plan on continuing to expand and refine my ability to serve my clients more effectively.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Far from smooth. That being said, I wouldn’t want it any other way. With challenge comes growth.

One major struggle was learning sales. It’s highly competitive and confusing at times. Learning to set emotions aside and approach situations as objectively as possible is crucial.

Managing a business has been equally challenging. There’s a lot of documentation involved in real estate, and creating an efficient system to handle it all has been important.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
3CRE has become a fast-growing brokerage fueled by its culture and a commitment to its clients. I am very proud to be part of the team.

I am a Residential Advisor at 3CRE. My job as a Realtor is to help my clients buy, sell, or rent homes. I am local to Cincinnati, and I love our city, which makes practicing real estate that much more exciting here. While it is work, it’s also an exciting opportunity to explore Cincinnati’s rich history, dynamic market, and local businesses.

I believe my commitment to discipline sets me aside most from others. I apply robust systems to diet, exercise, art/literature, and my career. These systems keep me moving in a direction of growth. I find joy in exploring the full potential of the human body and mind.

I am most proud of 3CRE’s connections within our city. As a brokerage, we deal in both residential and commercial real estate, which opens the door to meet and work with many interesting business owners, investors, and homeowners. Building these connections helps us provide a large variety of people with the value they need in their real estate endeavors, and better serve the community.

What matters most to you? Why?
The freedom to wake up every day and know I am working for myself. I am challenging myself. I am bettering my life, as well as the lives of those around me. It’s a different perspective, and there is no guarantee of success, but—for me—it outweighs the risk of living an unfulfilling life. You create your own success, securing a better future for yourself, your family, and everyone else you care for dearly.
