Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaleigh Cody
Hi Kaleigh, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Kaleigh Cody, Allied ASID is the owner and lead designer of River Birch Design Co. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Kaleigh brings over a decade of experience in high end residential new construction and remodeling. She has produced many award winning projects and achieved many accolades both locally and nationally. Kaleigh is past president of both ASID Ohio North Chapter and NKBA Ohio State chapter. After working at a high end new construction building firm for nearly a decade, Kaleigh decided it was time for a change and River Birch Design Co. was launched.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The transition to becoming a business owner of course has had some struggles but it has mostly been a positive experience! Prior to starting out on my own I had formed many lasting relationships with many trades and vendors which was great and helped make the transition smoother. Everyone starts somewhere and many are open to helping discuss any struggles and offer suggestions on how to move through those struggles.

River Birch Design Co. services clients in Northeast Ohio, the equestrian community in Wellington, Florida and Lexington, Kentucky. As well as Morgantown, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and any place in between.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I did not experience Covid as a business owner.
