Community Highlights: Meet Jada Danyell of Jada Danyell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jada Danyell

Hi Jada , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve worked in retail for over 20 years with brands like GAP, Cache, Steve Madden, and Saks Fifth Avenue. I’ve always loved fashion, and those roles taught me so much about how to create pieces people love, from design to customer experience.

The idea for Jada Danyell came after a few years of being a remote employee. I found myself wanting clothes that were comfortable enough for home but still polished enough to run errands or hop on a Zoom call. I also wanted to create a community in a time when I felt kind of isolated. I realized there wasn’t a destination for clothing and an experience like that, so I decided to create it myself!

With Jada Danyell, I wanted to bring my retail experience into creating a brand that makes women feel stylish and put together, even if they’re just at home. It’s been so rewarding to build something that’s not just about clothing but also about building a sense of community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest challenges has been the financial undertaking. Building a brand from the ground up and funding everything out of my own pocket is challenging. There’s so much to consider from manufacturing to marketing all while making sure the quality aligns with my vision.

On top of that, balancing a full-time job with building my brand has been tough. There are only so many hours in a day, and juggling work responsibilities while dedicating time to Jada Danyell requires a lot.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Jada Danyell is all about creating stylish, comfortable, and versatile clothing for women who spend a lot of time at home but still want to feel put-together. We focus on elevated loungewear and athleisure, pieces that are perfect for lounging, running errands, or even hopping on a Zoom call.

We’re known for using high-quality fabrics like modal and bamboo, and we pride ourselves on creating pieces that not only feel amazing but last. What makes us different is our commitment to quality without sacrificing affordability. Our designs are simple yet stylish, making them easy to mix and match with what you already own. We want every piece to feel like an effortless addition to your wardrobe—something you’ll reach for again and again.

One of the most exciting parts of our brand is our seasonal subscription boxes. These boxes are carefully curated with exclusive pieces and accessories that reflect the season’s vibe. The cost is $159 per quarter and we will also be launching another subscription offer in 2025 that will be a little cheaper.

One thing I’m really proud of is the community we’re building. Jada Danyell will be more than just a clothing brand—we are looking to build connection and community.

If there’s one thing your readers should know, it’s that Jada Danyell is here for the busy moms, professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone juggling life while wanting to look and feel good. Our clothes are designed to make your day easier, more comfortable, and a lot more stylish.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My brother, my circle of friends, my aunt, and my customers have all played such big roles in the success of Jada Danyell.

From listening to all my ideas—no matter how big or small—to actually being some of my first customers, my brother, friends, and aunt have been there. My brother has always encouraged me to keep going, and has provided great feedback in the direction of the business. My friends have been my sounding board, offering feedback and ideas while cheering me on. And my aunt has been one of my biggest advocates, always supporting me and even being my right hand woman when I have in person shopping events.

I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to my customers, especially the ones who’ve been with me since the beginning. A lot of them are people I personally know, and they’ve not only supported the brand by purchasing, but they’ve also been incredible advocates. Their feedback has been invaluable—it’s helped me improve, refine, and grow the brand.
