Today we’d like to introduce you to Clarisse Marisol Félix.
Hi Clarisse Marisol, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born on a small Portuguese island off the North African Coast with just 100,000 people. Growing up, my family faced generational poverty, but my father worked tirelessly to give us a better life. His sacrifice eventually allowed us to move to another country, and I’ll forever be grateful for that opportunity. No matter how far I go, I’ll never forget my roots and everything I do is in honor of where I came from and those who are still fighting for their chance.
My love for performance began when I was nine years old. I used to re-create monologues from my favorite shows and upload them to YouTube. Around the same time, I started my own gaming channel, where I discovered just how much I loved being in front of the camera.
At 16, I landed a role in an episode of The Boys by Eric Kripke, and by 17 I was on the front cover of Dolce & Gabbana Magazine’s 2024 issue. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to appear in Netflix’s Geek Girl and Channel 4’s Tip Toe. I’ve also been featured in 12 international magazines, built a business that donates half of its profits to charity, and grown a wonderful global community of over 200k followers through social media.
Despite the milestones, what matters most to me is using my platform to give back and to represent those who don’t always get heard. I’ll always fight for the minority and carry the lessons of my upbringing with me. Becoming an actress and a model has been a dream come true, but it’s also a responsibility, one I hold with gratitude, purpose, and love.
Looking ahead, my goals are to star in a blockbuster Hollywood film and grace the covers of Vogue editions all around the world. I want to achieve these not only through my acting and modeling but also by continuing to champion my charity work, I want to prove that success is most powerful when it’s shared.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all, it’s been anything but smooth. When I first moved to a new country, I didn’t speak English, and I was bullied for being different. It was really difficult to fit in and at such a young age I often felt isolated and out of place. On top of that, at just 12 years old I went through a traumatizing assault, something that deeply affected me and that I’m still healing from to this day. Around the same time, I developed an eating disorder while trying to cope with the pressure of both my personal life and my dreams.
As I started sharing my work online, I also had to face haters and negativity on social media. There were moments when I felt completely beaten down, doubting whether it was worth it to keep going. But even in the darkest times, I’ve held on to my passion for acting and modeling and the belief that my voice and the voices of those who come from humble beginnings like me, deserve to be heard.
I won’t pretend it’s easy but I will never give up. Every challenge I’ve faced has only made me more determined to create a career built on resilience, authenticity, and purpose. If anything, the struggles have given me the strength to fight not only for myself, but also for others who feel voiceless.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about HumanKYND?
My brand, HumanKYND, is built on the belief that fashion can be a force for good. We design and sell clothing and lifestyle items, but always with a mission that goes far beyond aesthetics or trends. Every product in our collection is tied to a cause, and when someone purchases from us, 50 percent of the proceeds go directly to supporting that item’s designated charity.
We partner with organizations that are close to my heart, including The Trevor Project, Girls Not Brides, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Black Visions Collective, and Medical Aid for Palestinians, among others. Each release is intentional, with the design, the message, and the chosen charity all working together to highlight causes that need visibility and support.
What sets HumanKYND apart is this commitment: no other brand I know of donates half of its profits from every single product. It is rare, bold, and fully transparent. We don’t just speak about change, we build it into every step of what we do.
I am most proud of how our community has already transformed HumanKYND into something much bigger than clothing. Together, we have empowered voices, funded vital programs, and created a space where fashion and activism meet. My hope is that readers see HumanKYND not simply as a brand, but as a movement—one that offers high-quality products while giving customers a direct way to support justice and compassion.
When you shop with us, you are not just buying an item. You are standing with people who need it most, and becoming part of a story of hope, upliftment, and transformation.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who’ve supported me along the way. My partner has always been one of my biggest sources of encouragement, constantly reminding me of my worth and pushing me to keep going even when things felt overwhelming. My parents have also played such a key role, they’ve always pushed me to do better and never stopped believing in me, even when the road was tough.
I’m also so grateful for the friends I’ve made throughout this journey. Each one has motivated me to grow into the person I am today. In particular, my time working on Channel 4’s LGBTQ+ series ‘TipToe’ gave me an incredible circle of friends who became like family. The bonds we formed on that set are lifelong and I’ll never forget the impact they’ve had on both my career and my personal life.
I truly believe that success isn’t something you achieve alone, it’s built on a foundation of love, friendship, and support, and I’m lucky to have that in my life.
