Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Mullins-Thomas.

Hi Victoria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all began a few years ago when I decided to sell my preloved clothes on eBay. When my eBay business started to grow, I decided to explore the local flea markets. My very first flea market experience was at Hartsville, Ohio. It turns out that flea markets were the most profitable for my new budding business. I also became a vendor at the Westside Flea Market, Vintage Marketplace at the Falls, The Bedford Flea Market, and other local pop-up shop events. At this point, I started to sell all fashion, including handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, scarves, and more.

Vstyle Plus+ has evolved over the past couple of years. Today, I sell mostly fashion jewelry and accessories. Last year, I created ” The Jewelry Bombshell” which it is a clear round ornament that is stuffed with sweet treats and a jewelry surprise. I also started to focus more on holidays and special occasions. As a creative maker, I occasionally enjoy designing my own jewelry to sell. At this present time, the business still thrives more at flea markets and pop-up shops, but my ultimate goal is to sell 100 % online.

In 2022, Vstyle Plus+ is changing its brand to heighten the awareness of mental health. Even though Vstyle Plus+ will be more mission driven, it will continue to provide the best gift giving experience through jewelry and accessories.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Vstyle Plus+ has definitely been a rocky road. In 2017, I decided to quit my job to pursue Vstyle Plus+ fulltime. I’ve already seen the potential revenue from both eBay and the Flea Markets. I thought I had it all figured out, only to find myself back where I started. The whole idea behind Vstyle Plus+ was for me to make money in my sleep while doing something that I love. The most challenging obstacle for me is creating a business that is more profitable on-line than in person. As time goes by, I feel that I am getting closer and closer to my goals. I am very determined to make Vstyle Plus+ the success that it should be.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I currently work as an elementary and middle school art teacher. I also worked in libraries for over a decade. I graduated from Kent State University with a B.A. of Art concentrated in Crafts. I specialize in making jewelry. I’m most known for my safety pin bracelet collection, which I sell on Etsy. I am most proud of my perseverance and dedication to Vstyle Plus+. I have always been a creative thinker outside of the box. What sets me apart from others is that I incorporate my personality and style into every product I sell.

Resilience.
