Check Out Lone Svn’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lone Svn.

Hi Lone, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I understood early that, in order to accomplish the goals I set for myself, I had to stay disciplined, motivated, & I had to pride myself on elevation in order to obtained everything I strive for. As an artist in Cincinnati, nothing is handed to you! I knew I had the talent to go far, I just needed an avenue to fuel the music. Started throwing parties, eventually led to throwing/ hosting the biggest events in Cincinnati to date. Establishing the event company, “EverythingValidEntertainment LLC” with 2 other members. Music has opened up a lot of doors for me, throughout my journey. Without it, I wouldn’t be where I am today! I set back and observed how business was conducted in my city, and knew having integrity & doing good business, always, will eventually lead me to new and more advanced opportunities. Eventually my team & I started to branch into different cities, and expand the foundation/ mission out there. So much more to do, to accomplish, just staying patient and enjoying the journey.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve came across a lot of different obstacles in my journey. Life will always throw curve balls at you when you’re trying to complete a mission. It’s all about how you respond to adversity. Rather it was financial hurdles, family issues, lack of resources, etc. I’ve been through it all! It’s all about managing your barricades, & staying focused! Understand struggles in your journey is inevitable, but as long as you know your big picture, don’t lose sight of that, & you’ll always bounce back, stronger.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As an artist, I make it a priority to be as creative as possible, and stay versatile. My music is tailored towards all demographics, that connect with me. I feel like rap right now, is very one dimensional, and I like to switch it up! Keep music, fun, fresh and engaging. I have the ability to reach so many different audiences, based on just who I am, as an individual! I’m able to connect with most, because of life experiences. My city knows the influence I have in regards to music, in the process of expanding it, & reaching a different tier to take the Midwest to a whole different level. I’m proud of being in a position to not only elevate myself, but help others around me grow as well! There’s so much talent, & want my platform to be an avenue for other artist to feel comfortable to follow, because I care about the musical growth of my city! & eventually that would expand to the country, when I reach that tier.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I think the biggest thing with me, when it comes to networking is, knowing that you’re an asset at all times, & knowing you can back it up. When I was coming up, I wasn’t really looking for people to take me to the next level, help or anything like that, mainly because I’m used to trial and error, learning from my mistakes, fixing them, then making it successful! Having that mentality, kind of shaped me too, knowing what I bring to the table! So, my logic on networking, depending on the interaction, is different than most. But, I was connecting with people, in which, we could discuss how we can mutually benefit each other and become allies in the future, after having successful encounters and business.
