Today we’d like to introduce you to Heidi Thompson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a family nurse practitioner with over 8 years of experience in providing comprehensive healthcare services. I earned my associates from Clark State Community College then bachelor’s from Ohio University, finally pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and found that I was extremely passionate about delivering patient-centered care. I started my bedside nursing career at Miami Valley Hospital working neuroscience then Labor and delivery. As a nurse practitioner I worked for Springfield Gastroenterology. I then, specialized in family medicine and had a strong commitment to preventive care, helping patients of all ages manage chronic conditions, improve their wellness, and navigate the healthcare system. I felt there need and focus on helping people look and feel good, therefore in 2021 I started Flawless Aesthetics. I created Flawless Aesthetics because I wanted to create a boutique personal experience where anyone that visits will feel beautiful and confident during each stage of the process. Beauty is not what others think about how you look. Beauty is what YOU think about yourself. In January 2022 was the “official” opening and has grown to what is today. I am dedicated to promoting health education and empowering patients to look and feel their best. When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy volunteering in community health initiatives and spending time with my family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No road is every smooth, especially as an entrepreneur in a competitive industry! Some common struggles along the way were self-doubt, community support, finding good employees etc.

We are one of the fastest growing MedSpa’s in the Clark County Region! We specialize in Botox, Fillers and anything that makes people look and feel good. I am most proud to see the business that I built from the ground up succeed and, to see the community come together to support us!
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see this industry continue to grow because people want to invest in themselves to make them look and feel good! Social media plays a huge role in this, and I am excited to see what else this industry has in store for us!
