Check Out Eyan Bryant’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eyan Bryant.

Eyan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When it comes to my mental health journey and work with Profound pondering I would say I genuinely started at the age of 14 in 2019. In the past I felt as though I were very emotionally volatile and very aware of myself in a somewhat negative way. I happen to stumble across a few pieces of literature and videos which would lead me to pursuing a better sense of self through meditation. Through the quarantine period of the Covid-19 pandemic I would spend hours meditating and in many ways getting a better feel of who I was which to me seemed like it took forever. I began to make videos on some of the subjects I would question about and would interview some of my peers at highschool which are still up on my channel today. Topics like, does love truly exist, do soulmates exist, what does it mean to exist, and many questions following ideas of solitude and growth, When it got to a point where I felt like stating my input I released a video in a format where I was talking about how the self is created and my thoughts on change in a general sense. Prior to my video making I would write to great lengths about the topics found in my videos and would somewhat base what I talked about off of those writings. After a while I was able to create them without any reference to writings I had made and my speaking ability truly started to flourish. Over the four plus years I have been working with profound pondering it has served as a mental health journey and spiritual guide for me and surprisingly many others who deal with over-thought and negative aspects of their identity. As of today I stand at 696,000 subscribers on Youtube and hundreds of thousands more on other social media platforms. I Am in the process of publishing my first novel on the subject of perspective and mental wellbeing all aiding in our purists of self help and self love. Included in the book will be a compilation of all the writings I made both in the past for my videos and up to the current day for my exploration and leisure.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say when it comes to the basis of my work it has been easy to do, self help and philosophy has become a part of who I am and what I pursue in life. Its as if my art is created as i continue to live and explore many of the strings that pull each of us away from ourselves. When it comes to how the work has been received I cannot say it has been much of a struggle, there was a time where it felt like I was waiting for it to gain some traction but at the end of the day it was more for exploration and growths sake rather than to been seen and acknowledged, which is another thing i talk about when it comes to our worth of self and idea. There are some mental liabilities that come with having a platform, however that in it of itself has been another avenue of growth form me in learning how to maintain how I feel about my work regardless of the following gathered.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I create a space for others and myself to express their innermost questioning and provide others and myself an opportunity to look at the world and ourselves in a way that actually allows us to be present. I would say that art that I produce is found mostly in my articulation on these subjects, as what I say has been said in many fonts before I feel like i say it in a way that digested easily in the modern day. I am also a writer, I would say that writing is my strong suit and it my greatest passion both in literature and in poetry. I am known for speaking on many platforms about mindfulness spirituality and mental health mainly surrounding our personal idea as well as how we view the world around us. I am most proud of the feedback I have received about my impact on those who have engaged in my content. I would say what make me different that others is the authenticity I attempt to bring into the area of philosophy. I will not say however that others in the field are inauthentic as we all stand on the shoulders of giant when it comes to some of the things we engage in. But in my journey I make a point to speak from the perspectives I am able to see myself and the growth I have personally achieved.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I would say that my favorite childhood memories have to be when me and my brother would play games together on the xbox or wii systems or perhaps any of the memories I have with my friends. We had many Youtube channels in our past that we founded on us staying close and we have.
