What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?

We wake up, get work, go back home and rinse and repeat – or at least it feels that way sometimes.  In truth, there are a million moments in between where we interact with others and we can’t help but wonder what folks will think about us once we aren’t showing up, perhaps once we are gone. Some very thoughtful members of the community share their thoughts on this with us below.

The story we hope people will tell about us when we are gone is that we put our faith in Jesus Christ. In our lives, we try to put all the pressure on ourselves. We try to have all the answers. We try to have it all together all the time, but in reality that’s just not true. Read more >>>

When I’m gone, I hope people tell a story about my faith; that it was the foundation on which I built my life. I hope they remember me as someone who was kind, who went with the flow, but who also stood firmly and passionately for what I believed in. Read more >>>

I hope people will say that I lived with purpose and dedicated my life to making a meaningful impact through healthcare, writing, literacy, and advocacy for children and families.
