Deontre , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I’ve actually had some moments that made me laugh and proud this year. My girlfriend has reached a beautiful milestone that she’s been putting forth since this year. The rollout for it will be a ETA basis but it brought me a lot of joy to see her be happy of something she’s worked so hard for.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi there my name is Deontre Siler. I am a model/fashion creator. I model for all brands such as recently Rihana’ company brand: Savage X Fenty, Rockstar clothing, Shein, and SUMWON men. What makes my content interesting is that I like to try different approaches to my apparel that I usually don’t wear. Recently I’ve been working modeling and being a brand ambassador for Fenty which really came out of nowhere but I’m grateful and blessed to be apart of.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My girlfriend J’Ana saw me before I could see myself or really before anyone could. There was a point in time where I didn’t know what I wanted to do and honestly I felt stagnant in my progression of finding the joy and happiness of what I wanted to do. She’s the reason I’m a fashion creator and if it wasn’t for her and days of her telling me “you should do fashion” “you have the following why not take advantage” “you have the face for it honestly”, I wouldn’t be the creator I am today.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could tell one kind thing to my younger self I think that it would be that you would be proud of yourself. Giving my younger self that reassurance would go a long way for me at a younger age and confidence that I would have. If my younger self could see who I am today I’d like to think that I’m the coolest person on earth.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. I’m a very quiet person and I like being to myself a lot. I’m not very talkative and honestly kind of awkwardly social. I do have my circle of friends that I’m comfortable with and I have humor as well that people are aware of. I usually don’t go out like that particularly because it’s not my thing but I do every blue moon or so for the occasion.

I feel most at peace when there are things that I can control to have a positive result of what I do. I’m at peace knowing that if I work hard I’ll live with whatever results from that. It keeps me from never giving up. There’s a saying that “You don’t put all your eggs in one basket” but you’re always able to make more eggs. That’s drive, ambition, determination that continues in your path of wanting to accomplish a goal.
