Caitlin, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Recently I have had several friends thank me for guidance I have given, thought provoking questions I have asked them, and healing energy I have shared. It makes me feel good that I can have a positive affect on the people closest to me.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My brand is “all things revolution”! Ha ha. Maybe that is too intense but I do love asking clients what their dreams are, how they see their lives if there weren’t barriers, and help get them there. Technically I am a coach, but in reality I am a magic maker, changemaker, and guide. I meet people where they are.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe I was TOO MUCH, too sensitive and not made for this world. It took me a LONG time to see these things as gifts, and maybe more importantly not care what others thought of me. I still feel not quite made for this world but use that to help change what is conditioned/expected.
When did you last change your mind about something important?
I just recently committed, in a big way, to not letting others limitations hold me back from what is possible. Sometimes there are people who have a lot of ability to mess with choices in your life, it is so easy to believe they will never change or be on your side (because of a long track record). The world is a crazy place and we keep experiencing things that have NEVER happened before! To assume something wild, crazy, and in my favor won’t happen is not meeting the moment! Why can’t something in my favor and unexpected happen? It’s not toxic positivity, it’s harnessing my own power.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
I have a few.
There isn’t any rule book to life.
Free will is wild.
Rest is resistance.
What do you want to do with this one wild and precious life? Get into a little good trouble.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
Sometimes my legacy feels invisible what I mean to say is that my approach is meeting the moment and guiding people to THEIR next best that it’s about them and not me. Ultimately I know that my impact will be remembered. 💚
