Today we’d like to introduce you to Rita Ambrosi.
Hi Rita, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
My name is Rita Ambrosi, I was born and raised in Mexico City. I have always loved art and design and that took me to major in Graphic Design in Mexico City. But it was Photography that was always in my heart, I always had a camera with me since I can remember. To be able to capture friends and family in special moments was always so significant to me, so special. To be able to go back to those moments in a photo is something I just wanted everyone around me to feel and experience.
My journey has taken me and my family to move several times, I have had the opportunity to live in Central America, Europe, and now the US. I love traveling and meeting people from different places and cultures. I am lucky to have made friends from around the world. During all these travels and experiences I decided to start my Photography business which is now focused on capturing and celebrating families and their love through beautiful images which tell a story and allow them to remember how beautiful this chapter of life is.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Every idea brings challenges along the way. I have had to learn a lot through this process, and I am still learning. I think as a photographer, it is the art and creative part that comes naturally. It has always been the business part of it that has taken me through an interesting learning curve where there have been ups and downs.
Understanding my client, and how to give them the best experience ever but also have all my systems in place so everything works out perfectly. I think we never stop learning but the most important aspect is to always be confident and take risks, play it brave instead of playing it safe all the time.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a natural lifestyle photographer and have been capturing beautiful photos for families for over 5 years. I love stories of life and love. Meeting families, their kids and photographing their journey is what brings me joy.
My style is natural, relaxed and real. I love to capture family moments that will remain in your hearts forever. My goal is to create a stress free family photography session, where you and you come to have fun and enjoy the moment. Capturing a shot that is natural and spontaneous while creating a photograph that is elegant and timeless is what inspires me. I am a mother of three boys and celebrating motherhood is something beautiful. I also want my clients to exist in their motherhood journey, and capture the tiny details in your kid’s lives before they grow while also celebrating partners. My clients are guided throughout the whole process of their family shoot so it feels easy. The actual experience of the shoot itself is an amazing time to forget about work, your to do lists and just celebrate the love you have as a family. It is relaxed and spacious and you will leave feeling more connected. No need to worry about perfect posed photos, sometimes kids will be happy, sometimes they won’t, but that is what is special about capturing the real everyday moments of life and that is what I want to celebrate with you with my work.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I think I am a very resilient person. I have had to start my life over and over again in different countries and although it has not been easy, in the end, I always adjust and try to look at things positively. There is always something new to learn from every experience and every path we encounter. We have to be open to all the possibilities.
I am a very creative person too, I like to be inspired. I think these values also give me a purpose that fuels a great sense of passion for my work. This positive attitude and my experiences are what I like to express in my work. I love meeting new people, I want to work hard and I make things happen.
