Hi Karen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I began my company as a hobby back in 2009 to create a pathway to relieve my stress from losing my mom to breast cancer.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, my road has not been smooth. As an entrepreneur, I wear multiple hats as the owner, the artist, the customer service representative, the presenter, the accountant, the sales team, the marketing division, and the manufacturer. I am constantly unlearning old habits to create new possibilities.

Honey, Scrubs n’ Stuff is a woman-owned, handmade skincare brand that serves all skin types.
My company specializes in sophisticated sugar and salt scrubs, lustrous balms, vegan lotions, soaps and linen mists.
I am known for creating a product that promotes complete mind and body well-being.
I am most proud of the gratitude I express daily even on the days when I have trials and tribulations.
What sets me apart from others is the ability to face adversity with courage and consistency. I believe in the power of positive thinking in my personal life and business world.

What matters to me most is that my customers are more than satisfied with a product that is compounded with safe ingredients. Commercial shelving carries all kinds of chemicals, some that may even be harmful. It is important to me that I love on your skin like I would do my own.
