Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaitlyn Tucker
Kaitlyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi, my name is Kaitlyn. I’m originally from a small town in Northeast Ohio—Barberton. In 2017, I moved to Dayton when my husband was stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. My husband and I have been together since eighth grade, and we’re excited to welcome our third baby this December. Life is a bit crazy now, and if you had told me ten years ago that this would be my life, I would have never believed you.
Let’s rewind a bit. I’m the oldest of three, with a younger sister and brother who still live in Northeast Ohio. My parents divorced when I was about 10, my dad has struggled with addiction on and off throughout my life. After high school, I went to college for nursing and have since worked in the NICU and Labor & Delivery. My current role, which I love, is at a Neonatal Recovery Center, caring for infants exposed to substances during pregnancy.
When I became pregnant with my son, I transitioned to PRN. Then, COVID hit. Just two weeks after I gave birth, my husband was deployed, and my son, born prematurely, spent time in the NICU. During that difficult period, I began sharing our daily life on social media. One day, a brand reached out, asking if they could send us some products. Of course, I said yes, and that opened the door to more opportunities. Over time, content creation became what I now consider my job.
Creating content has been so much fun, and sharing our lives with the online community has been incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful for the friends we’ve made along the way and for all the support we’ve received. Most of all, I’m thankful for the life my husband and I are able to provide for our kids, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
t’s definitely been a journey, filled with bumps and curves along the way. Content creation, while rewarding, comes with its own set of challenges—deadlines, contracts, decisions, drafts, and meetings—all while balancing being a mom, wife, and prioritizing my family. It’s a constant juggling act, and I’m still learning as I go. But I’m truly blessed to have my husband’s support. He helps record and create content, and I know I wouldn’t be able to do it without him by my side.
The kids love being part of it, too! Xander is always excited to be in the videos, and Xyla’s always smiling, ready to take over. It’s become a fun family activity, and I can’t wait to see if baby #3 enjoys it just as much—or wants no part of it!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Creating family lifestyle content has become such a rewarding part of my life. I love being able to connect with other moms who are in the same stages of motherhood—sharing our struggles and normalizing the ups and downs without any shame. The community we’ve built online is incredible, offering so much love and support. We’re truly grateful for them, because without their encouragement, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
It hasn’t always been easy, though. I’m proud of myself for not giving up, even when people made comments or joked about me posting on social media. It took a lot of determination to push through, but the friendships & opportunities that have come from it makes it all worth it.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5 to 10 years, I hope to continue growing our online community, connecting with even more people along the way. Staying authentic and sharing our lives has been such a joy, and I truly hope others keep watching and enjoying the journey with us. There’s something special about building these connections, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
