Rising Stars: Meet Alexandria and Autumn Dykes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandria and Autumn Dykes. 

Hi Alexandria and Autumn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since we were 1, we have enjoyed crafting and being creative together, from painting to jewelry and more. For years we watched our mom make crafty creations for her company, and we would often help to make bracelets. Years later, we told our mom that it would be fun if we had our own company. Our mom said that after much thought and planning, she decided to create the Lynnee Twins, LLC. so that we can use our skills and talents to help create a better future for ourselves. It allows us to build confidence, learn about business and personal finance, network, and have fun. We handcraft hair accessories, jewelry, and apparel for their company and well as help with ordering supplies and making product decisions. We have been in business almost 3 years now and look forward to more growth. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. As kids in business, we have other priorities, such as school and extracurriculars, that minimize our time for creating products. Exposure has always been an issue which at times limits our sales. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
The Lynnee Twins specialize in creative kid’s accessories and apparel. We handcraft hair accessories, jewelry, and apparel for children to look and feel good. Our goal is to provide creations that inspire and promote strength, courage, self-love, fun, creativity, diversity, and love throughout the world. 

We are proud to be sisters, twins, and kids in business, sharing our talents with the world. Most often we are known for our hair bows and accessories and simply for being twins in business. 

What are your plans for the future?
We plan to continue to create new, fun, and stylish accessories and apparel to enhance your child’s sense of style. We are looking forward to growing and evolving our company as we continue to learn and grow.
