Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex & Chelsea Boydston.
Hi Alex & Chelsea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After we worked together at a pizza shop and became best friends, there was no denying the amount of love we felt for one another. We married in 2019 and had a beautiful April wedding in the park. We loved every second of our wedding day and eventually decided that we could help share the stories of others by capturing their special day. We both have always shared a passion behind the camera so we took the leap to become videographers. Our goal is to create a long-lasting memory for people to be able to look back on and relive all those tiny details and moments that took so much planning and preparation.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Going into business together was an easy choice since we’ve worked together in the past and know we make a really great team. Some things that didn’t come so easy was starting a business right before a pandemic. It was not easy in any sense navigating the changes our country experienced, but the really great thing about it all has been meeting so many wonderful couples. We feel honored to have been a part of each and every wedding and we are extremely passionate about sharing everyone’s love story in a way that best fits them.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We offer photography/videography services for artists, families, gyms, bars/restaurants & more! But our specialty, what we spend most of our time capturing, is wedding videography.
We have so many different projects that we have worked on that we are proud of so it’s hard to pick just one! We both take a lot of pride in our wedding videos. Being able to create a video for a couple that helps them relive their day is a rewarding feeling that no amount of money matches.
One factor that separates us from others is one of our products, a video card! These cards are small video players about the size of a notebook. Each one has a customized design for the couple it was for. These are a big product for us! They are great gifts for family members or even for the couples themselves. Our couples say they watch their video all the time on it!
