Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
This all started with a love for Cincinnati chili and sharing it with the people around us. After coming down to Cincy for school we both became engrossed with the recipe and agreed that we could put our own spin on it. After over a year of trial and error, we landed on our signature seasoning blend. As we shared our creation with friends and family, we had plenty of suggestions to let the people of Cincinnati try it themselves. To start 2024, we began selling at If We Die We Die Studios downtown at one of their open mic events. Our reception there led us to vend at other events around the city, such as Northside Shitshow and Nexus. Over the summer we had a huge event selling at a friend’s concert. From this we garnered new partnerships to vend at other events such as Flora and Flair in Mt Adams and Hifi for our 1 year anniversary.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it was been a pretty smooth road. We’ve been blessed with good connections and partners and our passion for this product is what drives us forward.

We specialize in Cincinnati style chili with our main offerings being cheese coneys and walking tacos. Our super secret top secret spice blend is what sets apart from other chilis in the area. As a result of working on this recipe over the course of 2 years, we believe that we have the best chili in Cincinnati. Our main service is vending doing venues from bars to small concerts as well as catering for smaller gatherings. In addition to vending and catering we are looking into jarring our product to sell to others around the city . The Chilli Boys are always looking for opportunities to expand into new areas and connect with other community members over a mutual love for chili.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has come mostly through our connections and opportunities. We’ve been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with some great venues such as If We Die We Die Studio and Flora&Flair and are very grateful to have those chances.
