Today we’d like to introduce you to Tania Thomas.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Tania “Reese” Thomas, born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. I attended Wright State University, where I met and married my husband from Cleveland; 27 years later, we divorced, and I became a single mother of 4 children. It was devastating and heartbreaking; I went into a very dark mental place that led me to learning and understanding my power and inner strength. I was always a creative child and loved helping others, which led me to receiving the key to city at 16yrs old. The divorce was the best thing that could happen to me, forcing me love myself and believe more in my dreams that were put on hold for so long. I became a now 3 times published author and run two businesses under my LLC of “Love Yourself Productions“ my company is all about finding your purpose and learning that loving yourself can open all doors and heal you to becoming your best self. I offer purpose coaching and make the most amazing-smelling positive energy candles in the world. I began making candles as therapy during my divorce, and it blossomed into an entire buisness that I love, and I plan on being a household name with my candle brand. Recently I have acquired to new artist that I manage, and they have busy careers, R&B sensation “Malantheartist“ and comedian CJ Star, who is making major moves. My goal in life is to show my children and all people that go through adversity it’s just part of life, and everything you go through, you grow from it. If you maintain a positive mindset and believe in yourself 100%, you can’t lose in life. I want to inspire others to live your life for YOU and be unapologetically yourself in all situations. We have greatness inside, and when it’s discovered, it’s a golden ticket to a happy and fulfilling life. I speak on this on my radio show called “Real Talk Reese” every Saturday on nostatic radio. I am blessed in so many ways, and it’s all because the love I have from my beautiful mother, who has my back, and my wonderful children, who make me go harder in life to build generational wealth. God is good, and watch out for “Reese” as I become the best Media Host ever, and my candles are in stores, including Walmart, target, and love yourself candle stores in the local malls.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggles were mainly financial due to my situation going from 2 people to 1 person paying the bills and raising 4 children; my work struggle was learning how to market myself and properly brand my buisness; the key became creating great relationships and networking and just never giving up

What I love about my work is that I am passionate about making others feel good. When someone purchases a candle, and it makes them feel positive and relaxed, I feel warm inside, and I want to do it more; when I help some find their God-given purpose in life, it makes all the time and all the obstacles feel worth it. Seeing someone smile and realizing they are a gift to this world is a feeling that really can’t be explained.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I am happy when I wake up in the morning and see I am here another day to make a difference. My children being healthy and successful in their goals makes me happy; talking to my mother and having her say I’m proud of your daughter makes me happy. I enjoy simple things, walks in the park, comedy shows anything that makes me laugh and smile because vibration is everything…
