Meet Stephanie Heeb of YourChoice Concierge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Heeb.

Hi Stephanie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My path to entrepreneurship wasn’t something I had planned. It grew out of an unexpected career change.

After learning that my corporate position would be eliminated, I was given nearly a year’s notice before my final day. Rather than waiting for that chapter to end, I started taking on freelance administrative work for entrepreneurs, executives and small business owners. Initially, it was simply a way to earn extra income while preparing for what came next.

As I worked with more clients, I noticed a common theme. Many were incredibly talented and successful, but they were overwhelmed trying to manage both their businesses and their personal lives. They didn’t necessarily need (or want) a full-time assistant. What they needed was flexible, reliable support from someone they could trust. At the time, there weren’t many services that filled that gap, so I decided to create one.

That’s how YourChoice Concierge came to life.

In the beginning, I did everything myself. I worked directly with clients while spending evenings and weekends building the business behind the scenes. Those early years required a lot of sacrifice, but they also taught me some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned as an entrepreneur. I invested heavily in creating systems, documenting processes, and implementing technology that would allow the business to grow sustainably instead of reactively.

As demand increased, I gradually shifted from doing all the work myself to building a team of talented professionals who shared the same commitment to exceptional service. Learning to delegate wasn’t easy, but it became one of the most important turning points in my journey. It allowed me to focus on growing the business while knowing our clients were receiving outstanding support.

Today, YourChoice Concierge serves entrepreneurs, business leaders, busy professionals, and families across the country with flexible administrative, executive, personal and household assistance. What started as one person helping a handful of clients has grown into a nationwide team dedicated to giving people back their most valuable resource: time.

Looking back, I’m proud that I didn’t just build a business. I built a company around a simple idea that I still believe today: you don’t have to do everything yourself to be successful. Sometimes the smartest investment you can make is asking for help so you can focus on what matters most.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think every challenge taught me something that made the business stronger.

One of the biggest hurdles was building a business that relied so heavily on trust. We’re not selling a product. We’re asking people to trust us with their businesses, their homes, their schedules and sometimes even their families. That kind of trust isn’t earned overnight. It took years of consistently delivering exceptional service, building relationships and letting our reputation speak for itself.

Another challenge was resisting the urge to grow too quickly. As opportunities came in, it would have been easy to say “yes” to everything. Instead, I made a conscious decision to grow at a pace that allowed us to maintain the level of service our clients expect. That meant investing countless hours into creating systems, documenting processes and finding technology that could support our long-term vision rather than simply solving short-term problems.

One of the best decisions I made was implementing Zoho One to connect and automate many of our day-to-day operations. It took a significant investment of time to research different platforms, evaluate what would best fit our needs, and customize it around our workflows, but it completely transformed how we operate. In fact, I found so much value in the platform that I eventually became a certified Zoho One Partner so I could help other businesses improve their operations as well.

Perhaps the biggest lesson, though, was learning that I couldn’t be involved in everything forever. Like many entrepreneurs, I was used to wearing every hat. Letting go of responsibilities and trusting others didn’t happen overnight. It happened one task, one project, and one team member at a time. Ironically, as someone who encourages clients to delegate every day, I had to learn to take my own advice. Once I did, it changed everything. It allowed me to focus on leading the business instead of trying to do every job within it.

Looking back, I wouldn’t say the obstacles held the business back. They shaped the way we operate today. Every challenge forced me to think more strategically, improve our processes, and build a stronger company for both our clients and our team.

We’ve been impressed with YourChoice Concierge, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At first glance, people often assume we’re “just” an assistant service, but that’s only a small part of what we do.

At YourChoice Concierge, we help busy entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, and families reclaim their time so they can focus on the things that matter most. Sometimes that means providing executive or administrative support. Other times it means managing projects, improving business processes, coordinating vendors, overseeing properties, running errands, or simply handling the countless details that consume someone’s day. Every client is different, so every partnership is different.

What makes us unique isn’t just the variety of services we provide. It’s the way we approach them.

We believe the best support comes from building genuine relationships. That’s why we take the time to understand not only what a client needs help with, but also how they like to work, communicate and solve problems. We thoughtfully match each client with a team member based on experience, personality, availability and skill set because the right partnership creates trust, and trust is everything in our business.

Another thing that sets us apart is accessibility. Executive and personal assistance shouldn’t be reserved only for large corporations or those who can justify hiring a full-time employee. Many people simply need a few extra hours of support each week or someone they can call during especially busy seasons. We’ve built a flexible model that allows clients to receive high-quality assistance without long-term contracts or unnecessary overhead.

I’m especially proud of the reputation we’ve built. We don’t measure success by the number of tasks we complete but by the impact we have on our clients’ lives. When someone tells us they finally took a vacation without worrying about work, spent more time with their family, grew their business because they could focus on high-value activities, or simply feels less overwhelmed, that’s when we know we’ve done our job.

At the end of the day, we’re in the business of creating capacity. We give people back their time, reduce unnecessary stress, and help them focus on what only they can do. That’s why I don’t see delegation as an expense. I see it as one of the smartest investments someone can make in both their business and their personal life.

If there’s one thing I hope people take away about YourChoice Concierge, it’s that we’re more than a service provider. We become a trusted extension of the people we support. Our clients know they have someone in their corner who genuinely cares about helping them succeed, and I think that’s what has allowed us to build lasting relationships and continue growing year after year.
