Meet Saiko Yonebayashi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Saiko Yonebayashi.

Hi Saiko, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Well, it all started when I was younger. I always had a fascination for magic & the occult. Anything dark, edgy, & rebellious really haha. And I wanted to learn all I could about magic, but unfortunately at the time I was in foster care and the people I lived with were very closed-minded & to be quite honest, cruel to me at times.

But after school, I would spend all of my time at the library learning and researching everything I could about the occult & magick. Eventually, I was able to go home to my real mother and at that time I had put learning magick on hold so I could mentally adjust to a new home life with my now sober mother.

After a while, I continued to study but in secrecy because I had quite a strained family life at home even with my mother. Things were toxic for me so I put focus on my mental health and just stayed to myself as much as possible. After a few years when I became old enough to, I left my mother’s home and started to secretly practice witchcraft.

None of my friends, family, or even my boyfriend at the time had a clue as to what I was doing. For a while things were good and I was safe. But I and my boyfriend at the time started having issues and I started to see someone else. It was only supposed to be a fling at first. But little did I know, I had met my twin flame.

Now TwinFlame is a highly spiritual soulmate union that serves a very special purpose. But this man had put me through hell and back when we were seeing each other. Now at this point in my craft, I wasn’t much for tarot cards & crystal balls & all that jazz. But I was so desperate for answers when it came to him and me that I started to watch tarot readings online. And eventually, I bought a deck for myself.

Well as it turned out I had a knack for reading tarot and I was even able to discover my psychic abilities beyond just reading tarot. Thanks to a little guidance from more seasoned witches I was able to identify my powers as a psychic & grow a successful small business in less than 2 years. And as of a few months ago I even started doing spellwork for others too.

Everyone loves my work and I have some very loyal and wonderful clients. I’d say my biggest sellers are my tarot readings and money spells for sure! Right now I’m working on expanding my business. I also post free general readings for every zodiac sign on Twitter & Facebook at least twice a month. And I’m in the process of creating my website for bookings and other things. Right now people can book with me through my Facebook business page at “Ghoul Tarot.”

I truly love what I do for work and while it is different and can be challenging at times, I wouldn’t have it any other way. My spirituality changed my life and made me a more confident and healthy person. I’m just happy I can give back to others by doing what I love and reconnecting them to the magick that lives within us all.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing has ever been easy for me. My whole life I always felt I was destined for something great, or at least, better than what I had received. But everyone in my life would put me on the back burner and I was always a chubby awkward girl so it was hard trying to find confidence in a world that made it clear that it wanted to give me none. I truly never had anyone who believed in my dreams or my vision except my current partner.

Since I was 9 years old I had struggled with a deep depression and self-harm issues that plagued me throughout my young adult life. Luckily I’ve moved past that and I haven’t self-harmed in 2 years. If it wasn’t for my craft and me realizing my power I’m sure the outcome would be different haha.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Well, I am a pagan folk witch and psychic. My main work is doing psychic readings for other people and teaching witchcraft. That’s mainly what I’m known for. I also offer spellwork to those who need luck, love, healing, revenge, or change in their lives. Nobody, where I’m from really, does what I do.

There are a few other tarot readers but they don’t offer the extra services I do. And between you and I, they’re not so good at reading tarot cards anyways haha. I’m very proud of my work because I’m unique and I’ve never had a client complain about their services with me. And they always come back for more!

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Well to be quite honest, my clients and even other people seem to think that I’m like this “authority figure” who has it all figured out and knows what she’s doing at all times. But the truth is that I’m still learning too. When it comes to witchcraft, you never stop learning. And that’s what I love most about it. There’s always something new to learn about and discover.

My clients think that I’m helping them, but in reality, they’re helping me live out my dreams. I’m so grateful to the universe that sometimes I just wish I could help every single person I meet and give them all free insight & help with their spiritual problems. Unfortunately, there’s not enough of me to go around for that haha.
