Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Tozzi.
Hi Ryan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Ryan Tozzi and I am the second generation owner of a sports card and collectibles shop. Our business journey began before I was born in 1987 at a convince store that my family owned. My father, Jim Tozzi, began selling Topps Baseball cards at the counter of our family ran store along side my nana and uncles. Today we have a stand alone operation specializing in Sports Cards and Memorabilia of all types which is located one mile from the pro football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH.
We are a proud family ran business and our community of sports card collectors is unique and we are so blessed to come to “the shop” each day and do what we love. We also love new collectors interested in the hobby, come in and see what the fuss is all about!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Through the years we have seen oh so many booms and busts, remember Beanie Baby’s, we once sold those too. Fortunately our community of what I like to call “card board collectors” has always stood the test of time and the industry is stronger than ever.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Primarily sports cards authorized accounts with Topps, Panini America and Upper Deck. We also have an extensive collection of autographs, memorabilia, Pokemon and supplies for industry needs.
