Hello! I am the Fairy-Godmother, Paulette, and would love to tell you about my very Magical Business. I have been Blessed to create smiles for the past 5 years with over 3,000 parties & events thru-out Columbus, Ohio & outlying areas. Choose from 125 characters & mascots
Our passion to bring the best quality entertainment to clients is unsurpassed. Cast members audition for a position & then go thru our training program, so you receive a polished performer. All are incredible singers, dancers, and actors. Costumes are handcrafted by me and my dear friend Rosemary and are truly stunning! Characters are timely and reliable, and all parties an hour or more come with a handler to help. Need help planning your event or party? Paulette’s Princess Parties is a full-service character production company with 125 plus characters to choose from. All cast members are talented singers, dancers, and actors who go thru rigorous training to depict characters. With amazing skills, we can do something as simple as a 30-minute birthday party to an Extravagant Princess Ball. Costumes are hand-crafted. Wigs are of superior quality. Our venue Paulette’s Palace and Productions is a beautiful space for parties, events, camps, and classes. Along with our venue, we also direct and produce The OHIO Princess Balls which are heavily attended in Columbus, Lancaster, and Dayton. Paulette Thomas, Owner, hails from Pittsburgh Pa. As a professional ballerina with Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet and Ballet Met Columbus she has traveled the US dancing as well as doing off-Broadway Musicals. She teaches dance and theater classes in the Columbus area and choreographs for school productions. Along with the love of sewing, she is proud to combine her talents to create Paulette’s Princess Parties.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Covid made us think out of the box although hard we took the cast on the road got a sound system and put it in the car and went and entertained in the middle of the streets over that year, we performed in over 200 neighborhoods bringing so many smiles of joy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I absolutely am passionate about my company! my cast members audition and are amazingly talented professional and preprofessional singers, dancers, and actors this sets us apart from other companies when our characters come to you or you come to us you not only get a beautiful depiction of the character you chose but you get a singing and dancing extravaganza! And yes, even our superheroes sing and dance, and better yet so do our Santa clauses and holiday characters (our holiday division is: Claus family entertainment do you know that me and my friend rosemary handcraft most of the costumes! I am very proud of the gorgeous costumes we have created the Ohio princess ball is also my prized event we have done 10 of them thru out the years usually 12-14 princes and princesses full of singing and dancing and interactive stage show and an enchanted ball where the children dance the day away with the characters!!!

I do wish I knew more about social media when I started it was a learning process as well as creating my own website!
