Today we’d like to introduce you to Nora Brown
Hi Nora, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name Is Nora, but most people know me as THE VAGABOND. I am an underground rapper and producer from marysville, Ohio. I am currently working on my first studio album “Carpe Diem” with my independent record label P.V.S. Media (Pilgrims, Vagabonds, Sojourners.). I First started rapping in 8th grade after my best friend had passed away, and I had never taken it too seriously until just recently when I got decent recording equipment, I plan on making rap music far into the future!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all, I was rapping for a long time before I ever considered trying to go professional, and when my best friend and mentor passed away it took the flame out of me for years, only recently have i started coming back into the game, because I was inspired by movies and Music that I found relateable and inspiring. I shared some concept arts for a few songs that I have coming out!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Being a young artist, Especially a poor young artist is tough, especially because you got to push yourself past the limits normal artists would normally have to go for, because you are at a monetary disadvantage, im proud of the small fan base im building on youtube and Instagram, it may only be 150 people, but I still never thought I’d make it this far, I couldn’t have done it without my friends and my mom though.
What are your plans for the future?
Like I said before, I am going to be releasing my first studio album “Carpe Diem” on July 25th of 2025. I do plan on releasing some singles on spotify and my YouTube channel @Signorita_Vagabond
I would love to do a show for someone, keep in mind i am under the age of 21 so I can not preform at bars or clubs.
