Hi Nikki, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always been a deeply spiritual person who feels most at home in nature. That connection is what first drew me into the metaphysical world. The more I learned to heal myself through nature and spiritual practice, the more I felt called to help others discover that same sense of balance and healing. At the heart of everything I do is a simple truth: I want to empower others to heal themselves.
The journey from a curious little girl reading about magick to the woman I am today, working to build a business, has been anything but linear. My dream of opening a metaphysical store truly came alive when I found myself helping a local business owner start theirs. I went from being a detail-oriented housewife to suddenly learning the ins and outs of running a business on the fly. It was challenging, yes — but also incredibly inspiring. That experience showed me what was possible, and it solidified my dream of one day owning a business of my own.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
That’s an interesting question to answer. As a witch and spiritual practitioner, I’m a firm believer in the timing of the universe. I was first introduced to the idea of entrepreneurship in the 4th grade, and that passion was reignited almost ten years ago when I helped a local business get their start. Then, after experiencing one of the hardest years of my life in 2024, I was reminded of the comfort and healing I’ve always found in nature and the metaphysical. At the start of this year, I came across the vendor sign-up for my city’s summer street fair. With the support of my best friend and cousin, I took the plunge. I spent an entire weekend brainstorming a new vision and building a website.
From there, I began focusing on creating an online presence, drawing on some of the knowledge I had gained years earlier at the Small Business Development Center. Once the summer street markets started, I was faced with new challenges and opportunities to grow. Each hurdle taught me new skills, and with every obstacle came a leap forward — not just in becoming a business owner, but in growing as a person.

Ultimately, at The Crow’s Moon Apothecary, my mission is to help people reconnect with nature and the cycles of life. As an ordained Priestess and Witch, I offer guidance, perspective, and healing. Whether through tarot, Reiki, crystals, or other spiritual tools, I strive to help people connect with the form of healing that resonates most deeply with them.
As a neurodivergent witch, I am committed to honoring the nonlinear path. I create sacred, sensory-friendly spaces and personalized rituals to help others discover their own magick within. Every product I create or offer is sourced with intention — the herbs I grow are organic, and I do my best to ensure the materials I use are environmentally conscious. As my business grows, I hope to partner with other small businesses to expand offerings while staying true to that same standard of care.
What makes me most proud are the moments of connection with my customers — when someone tells me how a reading, a Reiki session, or even a simple herb or tool has supported their journey. Those stories remind me why I do this work. Above all, I want people to know that they are capable of so much more than they realize. My mission is to help them uncover the Magick, Moonlight, and More that already exists within themselves.

The first person who comes to mind is my cousin and best friend, Melissa. She has been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement throughout this journey. My husband and son have also been an incredible support system, cheering me on every step of the way.
When I first helped a local business get started, I was fortunate to meet many other small business owners, each with their own inspiring stories and dreams. Their passion and determination left a lasting impression on me, and I continue to be inspired by people who pursue what they love with their whole heart. Surrounding myself with that kind of energy has been just as important to my growth as the support of my closest loved ones.
