Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Damron.
Hi Michelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Leffloral was conceived 30 years ago. When Robert and I met working in a local flower shop. In Columbus Ohio. I am a native of England and Robb is a native of Columbus, I was a young designer and he was delivering for the shop while going to the university next door to the shop.
We talked about having our own floral business for many, many years.
But got busy growing our family and careers in the green industry and the floral business.
The during the first year of the Pandemic like many other folks we asked ourselves what are we waiting for?
The floral industry was purpose-built for a Pandemic, like the one we all were experiencing during that terrible year!
Flower deliveries are delivered to the door with little to no contact with others which was a plus at that time.
The floral industry was also booming in the Spring of 2020. People wanted to feel better and happier and the awareness wellness was growing more and more important.
“Tip” – Flowers and green plants raise our serotonin levels and bring us joy and a feeling of oneness with nature.
We were convinced it was the right time to take the leap and start our own little flower shop.
We did we are and the story continues. Two years in now and we are growing, our roots and deepening in the downtown diverse and beautiful community.
We are grateful and excited about the future.
“Tip” – Don’t wait, just do it and take the leap. Good things are always around the corner. have faith and believe in yourself.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Always finances, Michelle is currently still working her day job while Robb runs the business. Goal gets Michelle on full-time, not just weekends and evenings.
Energy, when you are a mom-and-pop shop, the work literally never ends, it’s alllll you talk about and breathe in and strategize on.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our design style. We have European and American roots. Michelle is British and Robb is not!
So, it works.
We are passionate about design, from old world renaissance floral masterpieces, we gain inspiration from in Museums.
To Rock and Roll cutting edge looks. The dichotomy is real and it is fun to mix and match styles and ideas and influences in our field.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
