Today we’d like to introduce you to Jakob Michaels. 

Hi Jakob, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was a frustrated entrepreneur trying to get traction in a noisy world. I was performing at corporate events and being an entertainer around the city. I knew the video was the way to solidify my message in the hearts in the minds of my audience. 

After hiring a few video teams, I found myself very disappointed, and nobody seem to be able to execute my vision. In response, I began to try and learn myself. As time went on, I realize the frustrations of learned operate a camera, create a visually stunning edit, and craft a message in video that is compelling. 

A lot of friends and fellow business owners began to notice my efforts, and ask if I could do this for them as well. Over time I began to realize that I loved helping other professionals create messaging, compelling video strategies, and ultimately Hypnotically draw in, convert, and retain their dream clients. 

Today, we help business owners and coaches reach, convert, and retain their dream clients by creating game-changing video strategies easily and effectively. We blend highly creative high-quality video with clarified messaging and strategic placements of created media to achieve targeted goals. 

We’ve been blessed to have successfully done shoots in the UK, Greece, Brazil, and of course all over the condo United States and niche industries such as manufacturing, medical, and skilled labor work. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Along the way there was a lot of struggles, there was learning how to use a camera from scratch. Before getting his business started, I had no idea how to use a camera professional manner, and even on top of that things such as audio and lighting. 

The marketing side was definitely the big game changer for our business because before we were just selling videos and just being told what to do, but over time we began and noticed things like clients really wanted something made for them a game-changing strategy that we could craft and then put in place and do completely from them from the ground up of writing the scripts, filming the videos, implementing it on their website, and finally running to target ads support of the strategy. 

As we focus in on more of our niche industries, we find ourselves beginning to get new challenges, but always find creative solutions to the difficult problems that keep our clients up at night.

Life On A Lens Media above all else is a tool to help business owners and coaches reach, convert, and retain their dream clients. Our goal is to make their investment in our team a drop in the bucket compared to the results to produce for them long-term term. 

What sets at the part more than anything else is that we are a results-driven marketing consultation and messaging firm first, then on top of that, we are extremely gifted team of video professionals with creative ideas. Most typical production companies have the idea of making a big video or making something flashy, where we focus on the messaging first and also focus on keeping things simple so there’s less moving parts that can go wrong in the video strategy. 

We found that this approach is extremely scalable and commercial, it allows our clients to easily and effectively come in one to two day of shooting, have less time in post-production for delivery, and finally be implemented and started to get their results within a shorter period of time. 

We’re proud to say we’ve never had to re-shoot and never had a dissatisfied customer working with people and brands around the world. 

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
COVID-19 was a very trying time for all business owners and of course the general population of the world, but it’s hot our team valuable lesson. It taught us the content marketing is the only kind of marketing that really still exists, and the types of content that produce results in people’s business is content that educates inspires or entertains. 

It showed the rise of things like micro content Like Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube shorts, which are quintessential in a business development top of mind awareness. We had a lot of frustrations getting our own social channels going in this area and growing that. It gave us the opportunity to not be able to do anything but produce content just for our brand personal brand and because of that, we were able to learn a lot more that we could bring to our clients.
