Today we’d like to introduce you to Izabella Razook.

Hi Izabella, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Choosing to go solo immediately after beauty school was one of the biggest leaps of faith I’ve ever taken. I knew it wouldn’t be the easiest path, but I also knew I wanted to build something that was truly my own. Instead of waiting until I felt “ready,” I decided to trust my vision, put in the work, and grow through every challenge.

Now, just over a year into my journey as an esthetician and business owner, I’ve realized that success isn’t about luck—it’s about consistency, resilience, and showing up every single day, even when no one sees the behind-the-scenes work. Building a business from the ground up takes sacrifice, long hours, and an unwavering belief in yourself, especially during the moments when things feel uncertain.

Going solo right out of school isn’t for everyone. It requires confidence, discipline, and a relentless drive to keep learning and improving. There will be setbacks, but every obstacle is an opportunity to grow stronger and become a better entrepreneur.

My journey has taught me that if you’re willing to bet on yourself and stay committed to your purpose, incredible things can happen. The road isn’t always easy, but creating a career and a business you’re truly proud of makes every challenge worthwhile. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited to continue growing, serving my clients, and inspiring others to chase their dreams with courage.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One thing people don’t always see is that the journey hasn’t been smooth—and that’s okay. Going solo right out of beauty school meant I wasn’t just becoming an esthetician; I was becoming a business owner overnight. I quickly realized I was working two jobs. During the day, I was doing what I love most—helping clients feel confident in their skin. But when I left the treatment room, my work wasn’t over.

I would come home after spending all day in the salon and immediately start creating content, editing videos, answering messages, planning marketing, and building my brand. There were nights I traded rest for growth because I knew every post, every video, and every connection was another step toward the business I envisioned.

Being your own boss isn’t glamorous every day. It’s long hours, constant learning, and believing in your dream even when the results aren’t immediate. But every challenge has shaped me into a stronger esthetician and entrepreneur. Looking back, I’m grateful I took that leap because it taught me that success isn’t built in the easy moments—it’s built in the ones where you choose to keep going. If you have the passion, the discipline, and the courage to bet on yourself, the hard work will always be worth it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As an esthetician, my goal is to provide personalized treatments that are truly tailored to each client’s individual skin needs. I specialize in custom facials designed to address specific concerns while helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. In addition to skincare treatments, I offer services including waxing, spray tanning, dermaplaning, lash lifts, brow laminations, and so much more.

What I believe sets me apart is my genuine love and passion for the skincare industry. I’m not just passionate about providing a service—I’m passionate about building relationships with my clients and helping them understand and care for their skin. My mission is to help every client embrace the skin they’re in while creating a personalized plan to support their skin goals and needs.

Every person’s skin is unique, and I love being able to combine my knowledge, dedication, and passion to help each client feel confident, radiant, and empowered.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
As an esthetician I think what makes me the happiest is after I finish any service on a client seeing them smile and saying how relaxed they feel makes me not only happy but it is also a little reminder that I truly am in the right field. It is the little things that make my day and is the reason I love what I do.
