Today we’d like to introduce you to Irish Bianconi
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
How I got started in the photography world is my favorite part to share! As I always had a passion for photography, the stories it tells in a simple photo taken, since I was alittle girl I have always loved just taking photos and being excited about something I saw and would have the need to capture it even just with my phone. I would always mess with angles with my phone just to see how a picture would come out. As I got older, my mom then started doing photography on the side of her being a full time paramedic, so when she started doing weddings, I became her second/assistant photographer when needed. It’s a lot of fun to do photography together and being able to teach each other new things with camera/video or editing techniques you name it. That being said I started to try videography on the side of photography, loving it but not as much as photography, I believe images tell more of a story like a poem in its own unique way especially client to client. Photography is also my passion and it’s so therapeutic, I just get so in the zone of capturing photos whether it be of my three kids and doing cute little photoshoots, to nature photos, just because I think something with the naked eye catches my attention or for a couple getting married and want those memories to last forever or just photos for clients to have with their family and watching my clients light up when they receive their galleries each time, make me feel like I have more of a purpose, no matter the reason, photography is something I could never give up. My mom is to thank for that, who got more into and doing it professionally.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While doing photography has been an absolute smooth ride, doing it professionally not so much, but I’ll never stop trying and doing it. When Covid hit, it made it hard for many freelancers and entrepreneurs especially in the photography industry, everyone has been trying to build up their clientele again and basically starting all over from scratch. Marketing in such a competitive industry is also another added battle aim making it challenging for being a professional photographer. But when do get clients it makes it all worth it and staying focused because it reminds me of my purpose of why I love photography. I also enjoy connecting with other photographers and hearing advice and tips on what works for them and getting feedback as well helps keep me motivated. But slowly but surely, it will work. Patience is key!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Being a mom and a mom of three and wife, my little family is so involved in my photography life. My husband has been a huge inspiration and his feedback and ideas to help me do new ideas or anything that comes to my photography makes me happy. My children especially my son who is 8 years old and is autistic, at the age of 4 years old for Christmas he had asked for a camera so he could take photos with me, and it fills a joy in my heart to see things from his perspective through his Vtech camera and his excitement from what he captured and still to this day has the same little camera and brings it everywhere we go and his statement each time “I’m bring my camera incase I want to take a picture of something cool!” also fills my purpose as a mother knowing I can inspire my children and see what amazing things they do.
When it comes to my photography business, I specialize in portraits, events and wedding photography. I’m known for capturing in the moments while also doing some posing, I will walk and have wonderful conversations with my clients and even just talk form the heart share things on a personal level and catch those in the moment. I suppose that’s what even sets me apart from other photographers. Knowing many other amazing photographers, I just feel I am more personal and approachable with what I do, really interacting with my clients and having fun rather than just and taking money for my work, I’m more about taking time to know my clients, and build a professional bond with my clients that end up becoming good friends in the making. Following along their life and journey. I’m proud to be the person I am and loving what I do! Each client I take on is different and not one is the same. I enjoy telling a story whether it be with weddings no matter how small, family portraits or any style portrait, Senior sessions, boudoirs, birthdays and showers, you name it, I’ll be there and help my clients every step of the way and creating an easy flowing fun time during their photography sessions, making it unforgettable!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Most people never knew I was that into photography and thought I just did it as a side business for extra money when I go to share my galleries and they end up booking with me for how artistic and passionate I am about photography. There’s fun fact about photography; The word “photography” originates from Greek, meaning drawing with light.
