Meet Ebony Hill of Hilltastic Coaching and Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ebony Hill.  

Hi Ebony, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a life coach, author, corporate trainer, professional speaker, and podcaster. I love helping people reach their goals and become the best version of themselves. I’ve always considered myself to be a sister friend to so many. I know the power of sisterhood, and I sprinkle that on everything I do. 

I was a 45-year-old bride that intentionally dated until I met my husband. I tell people that I was determined, not desperate, to get married and I learned so much about myself on that path. The lessons I learned led me to write my first book and workbook, How I Went from 45 and Single to 45 and Married. 

I found out more about myself as I learned what I actually was looking for in a mate. I discovered what I really wanted in marriage and why being married was so important to me. I got help from some friends that served as my relationship coaches. I was able to get real with myself and face my shortcomings, and most importantly, I learned to trust God with this area of my life. 

My journey to becoming a bride allowed me to connect and share with a multitude of single women. Once my book was released it led to my husband and I doing relationship coaching and then becoming life coaches for women and men. 

As a corporate trainer, I developed presentations, now I use those skills along with my heart for assisting others to teach personal development workshops within the community and for corporations. 

I believe in being the change that I want to see in the world, and I enjoy having fun along the way while I do it. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The obstacles that I have faced are self-imposed when it comes to asking for help and believing in myself. I have an amazing group of people in my life that help encourage me and cheer me on. I love that whenever I have a new idea, and I have quite a few… lol, my friends are right by my side to help me see the idea become a reality. I have learned that the only reason I don’t have help is because I didn’t ask for help. 

As you know, we’re big fans of Hilltastic Coaching and Consulting. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We believe in helping people become the star that they truly are and that you already have everything that you need inside of you. We are here to help people shine brightly and live their best life.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I remember winning my first camera as a prize for selling Christmas cards when I was around eight years old. I remember thinking, “Wow you can sell stuff and earn things.” That was the day that I fell in love with entrepreneurship. The idea of the exchange became a driving force in my life in business, relationships, and community, when you give, you receive. Now, I know my purpose is to help spread the light and love of the Most High God in all that I do, exchanging darkness for God’s light.
