Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Siegelord is a theatrical metal and cinematic rock band located in Cincinnati Ohio. Musically influenced by the cinematic atmosphere and metal bands such as Amon Amarth, Immortal, Gwar, and Dissection, Siegelord produces both a heavy and melodic sound. With a story concept rooted in dark fantasy, and a powerful musical accompaniment, Siegelord brings to life live shows consisting of numerous backdrops, stage builds, and effects.
In addition to our heavier music, we also offer a more “PG” family-friendly show. -An interactive story narration with a massive musical accompaniment and theatrical stage show. We would be great for Viking-themed events, Barbarian-themed events, Breweries, Renaissance festivals, Comicon Conventions, LARP events (live-action role play), Professional Wrestling events, etc.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have been around since 2013 and have been through a lot together (the band). The band itself was created by band members of a previous band.
Similar to many bands’ stories, the early years were littered with spells of drama and feuds. We had other personal demons of our own we had to fight as well. As we matured as people and as a band, we developed a special chemistry as musicians together, and an even more special brotherhood bond.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We are a theatrical metal/cinematic rock band.
Our music is heavy, dramatic, and full of dark fantasy lyrical content that (sometimes) parallels our actual lives. Our shows are productions with plenty of backdrops, stage props and build, and effects such as geysers and pyrotechnics. Even if the music may not be “your” cup of tea, there is a lot to look at and be captivated with.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
When we’re not being barbarian savages on stage, we do the following for our day jobs:
Ulfr (Austin Wolfe) vocals/bass -works for the IRS.
Sieven (Ben Harris) drums – is a director at an aviation repair facility.
Therod (Joe Neal) guitar – is a certified elevator technician
