Meet Awilda Olah of Halo Creation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Awilda Olah.

Hi Awilda, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always known I was different; having the gift to see, hear or feel things was just the beginning… At a young age, I would have very vivid dreams and feel loved ones that had passed. As a teenager, I dabbled with the tarot cards, but they did not resonate with me like the angel oracle cards do. My father-in-law battled colon cancer, and I was the one that took him back and forth to his daily treatments. It was then that I felt like my gifts were no longer going to remain dormant. He would often tell me that I was calming to him and that he felt at peace. While I waited for him to complete his treatments, I would talk to the other patients in the waiting room with me, and I could tell just by us talking they calmed down. A year after he passed, I met a very talented woman that told me I was a powerful Reiki Master; I looked at her and said, “what am I?”. She explained Reiki to me, and I was like, “Ok, yes, I do those things but never had a name for it.” I decided to become a Reiki Master Teacher back in 2003 and shortly after became a licensed Reverend for the state of Ohio. Since then, I have adopted several modalities that help balance all the layers of a person’s energetic field.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was not a smooth road as I didn’t understand the beautiful gifts that I have. I always felt different and, at times not, able to be TRUE self, so I would try and dismiss those gentle nudges and signs. It could have been a smooth road if I had accepted myself as I am a long time ago. I now know I have found my calling and that I am meant to share all these amazing gifts that I am lucky to have, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

As you know, we’re big fans of Halo Creation LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Halo Creation was started to help others on their spiritual journey. I have been on the path to self-exploration and spirituality for over thirty years. My passion for this has led me to study a variety of techniques professionally, beginning in 2003 beginning with Kundalini. I currently I hold certifications as a Reiki Master/Teacher, 200HR Yoga Teacher, certificate for Yin Yoga, and hold a Master’s of Spiritual Healing (MSH). I am a member of the International Natural Healer’s Association, Yoga Alliance, and Inner Circle for Kundalini Yoga.

I tailor each session individually to each client and use my knowledge of the body’s energy system to best serve the client’s needs. My client’s well-being is always at the heart of my treatments. In my practice, I focus on the holistic relationship between the body, mind, and spirit and their contribution to one’s health and overall well-being. I also lead yoga hikes that incorporate the power of nature, the ancient practice of yoga, and meditation to bring clarity to the hiker.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was the time we drove to Florida. I believe I was just 4 or 5 years old when this trip occurred. We stopped in Kentucky to visit underground caves and did a glass bottom boat tour. From there we stopped in either Georgia or Florida, my dad decided we were going to camp. You know that scene in National Lampoons Vacation where the camp was run down and there were ducks in the green pool – well that is how I remembered our trip and the smell, WHOA!! We did not last the night we eventually went to a hotel. During this trip I remember peddling my older siblings on a tandem bike, my sister scarring me for life by feeding me a rose shaped soap that she said was chocolate, eating mangoes and seeing jelly fish in the ocean for the first time. I believe this trip inspired me in being the gypsy that I am. I love being out on the road, meeting new people and creating new memories.
