Meet Anthony Paulino of Floaty LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Paulino

Hi Anthony, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Floaty LLC was born out of a love for unique, immersive experiences that blend music, nature, and cannabis culture. The idea for Toke and Float came from wanting to create something different—a festival that isn’t just about music but also about connection, relaxation, and adventure.

Imagine floating in beautiful Kim Tam Lake, surrounded by great people, live music, and an atmosphere that lets you unwind and just be present. That was the vision, and we knew we had to make it happen.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all—it’s been a journey filled with challenges. One of the biggest struggles has been dealing with censorship and platform restrictions. We lost a Facebook page with great engagement and followers due to cannabis-related content, even though our event is all about community, music, and responsible enjoyment. Social media is a huge tool for event marketing, so having to rebuild from scratch was a major setback.

Another challenge has been pushback from some local communities. Even though cannabis is becoming more accepted, there’s still resistance from people who see it through an outdated lens. We’ve had to work hard to educate, build trust, and show that our event is about positivity, connection, and responsible enjoyment—not chaos.

Finally, the stigma around cannabis has been a constant obstacle. Some sponsors, businesses, and local community members hesitate to be involved because of the negative perceptions that have surrounded cannabis for so long.

Breaking down those barriers and changing the narrative has taken time, but the growing support from our audience proves that things are shifting. Toke and Float isn’t just an event—it’s part of a cultural movement.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Floaty LLC?
Please tell us more about your business or organization. What should we know?

Floaty LLC is an event company dedicated to creating unforgettable, immersive experiences that blend music, adventure, and cannabis culture. Our signature event, Toke and Float, takes place in the breathtaking Kim Tam Lake, offering a truly unique festival experience where attendees can float on the water, enjoy live music, savor delicious food, and connect with an amazing community—all in a setting designed for relaxation and good vibes.

We specialize in curating events that go beyond the typical festival. Instead of being packed into a crowded venue, attendees get to drift on the peaceful waters of Kim Tam Lake while soaking in the music, atmosphere, and energy of the event. Our goal is to provide a one-of-a-kind, elevated experience that brings people together in a natural, scenic, and cannabis-friendly space.

What sets you apart from others?

What makes Floaty LLC and Toke and Float different is our fusion of music, adventure, and a floating experience like no other. Most festivals keep you on dry land—ours lets you chill on the water in a way that feels freeing, immersive, and unforgettable. Imagine relaxing on a float, paddleboard, or tube while live music echoes across the lake, the sun sets over the horizon, and the energy of the crowd blends with the beauty of nature. That’s what makes Toke and Float special.

We also take pride in normalizing cannabis in a positive and responsible way. Our event isn’t just about music—it’s about creating a welcoming space where like-minded people can come together, vibe out, and enjoy an experience that celebrates freedom, creativity, and connection.

What are you most proud of brand-wise?

We’re most proud of the incredible community we’ve built. Seeing people return event after event, bringing friends, sharing their experiences, and making unforgettable memories at Kim Tam Lake is what drives us.

Despite the challenges of promoting cannabis-friendly events, we’ve successfully created a festival that is respected, well-organized, and growing in popularity. We’ve shown that cannabis culture can be celebrated in a safe, fun, and professional way, and we’re proud to be leading that movement.

What do you want our readers to know about your brand, offerings, and services?

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
While Floaty LLC wasn’t open during the height of the COVID-19 crisis, we learned a lot by observing the shifting landscape around events and gatherings. Flexibility and adaptability have become core to how we operate. Watching other events struggle, we realized how crucial it is to have contingency plans and to be able to pivot quickly if circumstances change.

We also saw the importance of creating safe, open-air environments that allow people to feel comfortable and connected even during uncertain times. That’s why Toke and Float is centered around the spacious and beautiful Kim Tam Lake—it’s a setting where people can enjoy music and community while naturally social distancing if needed.

Overall, the pandemic taught us that community matters more than ever. People are craving connection and unique experiences, and we’re committed to providing that in a way that’s mindful, safe, and unforgettable.
