Today we’d like to introduce you to Adolfo Olivas.

Hi Adolfo, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started doing weddings in the early 1980s as Mayor. After leaving office, I became an ordained minister. I have performed over 1400 weddings. We current do about 100 a year. We have two assistant ministers. We have over a hundred 5-star reviews, and we have been ranked #1 in Ohio since 2023.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Very smooth

At “A Wedding Your Way” we strive to make your day special, memorable, and unique. I have performed literally hundreds of wedding ceremonies over the years, and I look forward to helping you create an unforgettable and individualized experience.

I started performing weddings as part of my duties when I was the Mayor of Hamilton, Ohio in the mid-1980’s. After leaving office, I continued to receive many requests to marry couples, so I became an ordained minister to perform weddings. I do this because I enjoy it, not solely as a business venture.

My experience includes officiating a ceremony in a small plane, performing a ceremony as Snape from Harry Potter, and even performing a “fake” wedding where every guest in attendance was in on the joke – except the father of the bride! No request is too outlandish!

We can be elegant and formal, or light and funny. The choice is and should be yours.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
be creative. be very quickly responsive. I do everything on time.
