Good morning Maurandis , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think most people struggle with comparing their life to others. They see highlights online and start feeling like they’re behind, when in reality, everyone’s just fighting their own quiet battles.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Maurandis Berger. I’m an actor and filmmaker who believes every story even the painful ones, has a purpose. Through my work, I try to give people hope, because I know what it feels like to lose it. What makes me special is that I never quit. No matter how many setbacks I face, I keep showing up. That mindset and heart can’t be copied, it’s built. I’m currently working on new films that push the limits of independent cinema, raw stories, real emotion, and a message people can feel. Everything I create comes from a place of truth.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Bonds break when ego takes over and love gets replaced by fear. But they’re restored when people choose peace over pride and remember why they cared in the first place.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
For a long time, I was afraid of failure — not just failing, but failing publicly. In this industry, you’re constantly being watched and judged. It took me time to realize that failure isn’t the opposite of success; it’s part of the process that shapes you into who you’re meant to be.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is the real me, just a more disciplined one. I don’t fake what people see, I just choose to show the side that keeps me focused on purpose, not problems.

I understand that everything is temporary, success, pain, even people. So you have to stay true to yourself through it all, because that’s the only thing that lasts.
