Hi Yahné, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Eyebrows have been my favorite talent since 2015. I began doing my own makeup and quickly realized 2 things: I wanted to do Eyebrows for a living and even though I preferred more natural-looking enhancements, I wanted to commit to maintaining healthy skin while also influencing it. In 2016 I started offering makeup services and became pretty good at it, but I knew that wasn’t it for me; I wanted to experience more. Towards the end of 2018, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in Esthetics school, full-time, while working as a patient registration specialist (which I enjoyed as well), part-time. During school, I enjoyed learning all things Esthetic which mainly focuses on bringing out the beauty of your skin or “skin health”.
Leading up to graduation in 2019, my small business was being created and I was like, “Whew this has been a journey, however, this is definitely it and I’m only getting started.” “YBeauty&Skin” has been specializing in Eyebrow Transformations while also offering 5-star experiences for services such as Intimate Skincare, Face/Body Waxing, Facial Treatments, and Lashes. I did decide to let makeup services go as I didn’t have the love for it. Currently, I am one of Toledo, Ohio’s #1 Preeminent, Licensed Esthetician/Mompreneur and I have so much more I want to offer to my current and future customers and supporters.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve overcome many obstacles during my journey, but I still do sometimes, and I know that I will still be challenged at times in the future. Learning and leveling up from those struggles are always a goal because then I know I am evolving personally and business-wise in some way.

Although I am a Licensed Esthetician, Eyebrow Transformations are my specialty. Whether someone is looking for eyebrow advice, shaping, tinting, or permanent makeup services, I am here to help. I just love seeing a pair of brows and visualizing different shapes and brow hair colors than actually bringing to life the best brows for an individual.
Consistently achieving a brow look is ideal and also exciting for me.
What sets me apart from other Estheticians is that I specialize in eyebrow services while also providing a list of other beauty and skin services that are customized and result-focused. Along with those services I sell beauty and skin essentials to help customers maintain the results they desire. I also like to keep my audience updated on social media, via emails, etc while balancing “Mom Life”, family, friends, and other entrepreneur opportunities.
