Life & Work with Tiffany Ra’shon of Ohio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Ra’shon.

Hi Tiffany , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a creative person. Growing up, I would wake up early with energy drawing, painting, or working on some kind of art project. That passion led me to attend the Cleveland School of the Arts, where I studied Visual Arts with a focus on drawing, painting, ceramics, and photography.

Almost immediately after I was first introduced to film and digital photography; everything clicked. I fell in love with the idea that a single photograph could tell a story, hold a memory in time forever, and show emotions that words sometimes can’t. With the encouragement of my photography teacher and mentor, I began entering photography competitions. After receiving a Scholastic Art & Writing Award for my photography portfolio, I knew photography was more than just a hobby; it was what I wanted to do in this life.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Journalism from Miami University, and in 2017, I officially launched Fervent Photography.

Today, I have the honor of photographing everything from newborns and growing families to high school seniors, corporate events, graduations, birthday celebrations, and so many of life’s biggest milestones. Every session is different, but my goal is always the same: to create images that feel genuine, timeless, and full of life.

I love what I do but what I love more than anything is getting to witness and preserve moments that matter. I’ve celebrated with families as they welcomed new babies, photographed graduates stepping into a new chapter, documented career milestones, and captured countless special moments. Knowing that these photographs will become part of someone’s family history is something I am truly grateful for.

I chose the name Fervent Photography because “fervent” means having a deep, sincere passion. That’s exactly how I approach every session.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. Some obstacles along the way have been juggling marketing for myself, maintening a photography studio space all while having busy full time jobs.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve always believed that a single photograph has the power to hold a memory in time forever. That’s what continues to inspire me every time I pick up my camera.

I love telling stories through photography.. Whether I’m documenting the energy of an event or capturing a growing family. Events allow me to preserve moments as they naturally unfold, while family and maternity sessions give me the opportunity to create images that become part of a family’s legacy for generations to come.

What I’m most proud of is creating photographs that feel genuine. I want people to look back at their images years from now and remember not just what the moment looked like, but how it felt. If I can give someone that, then I’ve done what I’ve set out to .

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I’ve always been an artist, but deep down I am very shy and an introvert. Photography became the way I could connect with others and share my gift to help others. Whether it’s preserving a memory for generations to come or just be support for them on their important days. I love what I do and look forward to continuing to be helpful to others by way of my camera.
